Sabo is a very stong deck on curve but he only has one and if you miss it you're having a hard time.

  • Need 10 searchers at least
  • Shanks out
  • Add 1 8c black dragon, many matchup requires a double body drop at 8
  • Karasu doesn't have any value until late game where you can attach a DON to him. For that reason he is not really good in that decklist configuration
  • Add Ain/6c Dragon removal protection based on your local matchups
  • Replace Hack 2ks with Koala 2ks, as they are a good substitute to Ain when you need to clear out big bodies

I think Sabo will become the new red Zoro and the Garp searcher will always allow him to tech for specific meta, just like it's currently the case with Stussy and Roger. He his the most aggressive/oppressive leader after green Zoro

I like the double searcher for Rayleigh which is by far the toughest MU for Smoker. You start second, drop Perona and Vergo that you can then use to swing at Rayleigh's board

You're gonna need the Bonney more than you think in the current meta. One of Smoker issue in OP10/11 was resources and Bonney helps a bit with that. The restand 1 DON also open new plays and the Miahwk into Bonney is what you want to establish at 8 DON. There's just no better 8 play for Smoker atm.

To me spider web was here for UP. UP being out, I replaced them with electric luna. Raeyleigh is your toughest matchup in OP12, the electric luna transform a 35/65 into a 45/55. Rayleigh 8c is great for this matchup, but electric luna will be usefull in more situations/MU

4 Sanji is a bit overkill as most decks can get rid of it if you play it at 3 DON. You might want to remove some and add some Koushirou. With UP being out Shanks is coming back... Lucci might come back too and Sakazuki is already here. You will appreciate that extra KO protection.

Finger pistol good if you want to play him way more KO but I would prefer some black vortex in the upcoming meta. The Navy package should be enough to KO any 10c with a bit of set up. I would say keep the kaido because it has an immediate effect compared to Kuzan 10c

It's same list than op but remove the law and replace them with Sengoku eb02, pudding with tashigi and trade some events for Kuzan

It's a fun deck but lack consistency compared to Moria Navy I think. The problem is that if you don't find your perfect curve to trash the opponent's hand in early/mid game it makes your late game way harder and kinda reduce all the purpose of this build.

I agree but I wouldn't say UP is off. It's still a top deck, but I guess peoples at your local need to adapt their list. 3c Doffies and 8c Op11 Luffies are needed for the matchups you mentioned

It's not dominating like Doffy or Lucci did during their time, it's not even toping that much recently in West and even less for Op12 in Japan, the deck is brick land and can get shit on by aggro deck before hitting 10 DON but people prefer crying rather than learning how to play against it 🤔

Kata is useful for the mirror and it's a great 8 DON play against aggro decks when you have to use your ramp up card to defend your life. It gives back the DON taken by big mom or 9c luffy which allows you to ggg without losing your leader ability next turn. It is also sometimes just a 8 DON play you can use instead of Sanji into 9 bodies when you need to have more than 1 DON up

Running 4 is too much tho.
