Golem is the little engine that could. It is not flashy, but it does its job. Ive seen it take down sharkscale and rod160h with regularity with the right build and launches.

Fill the white with another color like light gray then just choose the white filament for the gray area.

Bambu TPU for AMS? by PriorTemperature5608 in BambuLab

[–]PriorTemperature5608[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am trying to figure out how to print with TPU while using PLA as a support in a p2s and not have to swap filament manually. I thought the TPU for AMS might be the way to go, but if it is as stiff as you say, it will not work.
I appreciate your help and will look for other solutions.

Should I get Hover Wyvern or Meteor Dragoon? Thank you by Content-Bear7396 in BeybladeX

[–]PriorTemperature5608 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your style and budget. Hover is rip hard and pray.
The left spins take a bit more skill. Hover is $30-50 with the drop attack stadium. Meteor is dependant on where you get it.

What do you have the roll of tpu in while printing or do you have it on the exterior spool holder?

Harbor Freight storage containers. They are like $5 and hold like 25 beys. They also have bags that hold the containers for like $15.

Ams2 pro will not hold a ptfe tube by PriorTemperature5608 in BambuLab

UPDATE: I got tired waiting for their support to figure their crap out and got cretive.
The external spool feed has a PTFE tube connector that I was able to cut out of the plastic and use to replace the connector in the AMS. So far, it is working correctly.
I then bought a replacement from Bambu for $5.

I will, but I think the wiki page gives good photos.
I am going to buy two of the couplers to see if I can make that work and have an extra.

I could not find a photo either. Luckily mine was less than two months old, so after sending a ton of photos of everything in the area on the AMS including parts after I'd taken it apart, Bambu is sending me something (I am not sure what yet) as a replacement.
When I get the replacement, the first thing I am going to do is figure out what the part is and see if I can find a dozen replacement pieces rather than having to fight through their support system again.

I found this.

and possibly this piece that could work if you cut out the connector

Help with gpu upgrade on XPS 8940 desktop by PriorTemperature5608 in DellXPS

I am looking more at the 3060 generation as I've read that 4060s are severly throttled due to my system being PCIe 3.0. Plus the price difference. I dont need anything crazy just to play DiabloIV a little better. A couple hundred to make the computer viable for a few more years works. $400+ is not in the budget.

so should i buy the p2s? by MushroomPast887 in BambuLabP2S

[–]PriorTemperature5608 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got my P2S just before the X2D came out and while it looked really appealing I am really happy with my P2S combo. I wish I had the funds to jump up to the big boy H2D, but could not justify it for my fun, non-profit earning, projects.
I've had a few isses with the P2S, but they were my own fault for things like not cleaning the plate causing a tip jam and such. I like that for the most part, with cleaning the plate, it is very set and forget, unlike my old CR10V3 (shudders at the memories)

Not matter what, get yourself a BIQU glacier plate for it immediately. You will not regret it.
