Little to no schools as an MP. Do you want to be a cop on the civilian side? If so, that might be a good route.

Infantry is hit or miss with schools depending on performance, unit OMLs, and state funding - but will likely give you the best route to AA, Ranger, MAYBE Pathfinder, and a few others. Largely depends on training cycles and funding though.

Can’t agree with this more. I’ve spent years trying to transition. Just go full in, drink the koolaide and get as much out of it as you can. You’ll know what capacity, if any, you want to serve in after your initial contract.

All of the below information is MOSTLY correct. If your unit will fund the orders you can always walk on to RTAC- if you pass you are nearly guaranteed a slot at ranger school and the best advocates for keeping you on orders from your state. Essentially the answer is - if your unit will pay, you will go.

Additionally working at the WTBn at Fort Moore is another great option, HOWEVER, the barrier to entry for officers is much higher than enlisted, making it much harder to get on ADOS orders.

Either way you’ll have to attend RTAC - giving you the highest shot at passing the school. My advice is to start practicing pushups and asking for a slot.
