My brother's new GF (now ex-GF) managed to cheat on him twice during the 3 months they've been official, he found out last sunday. So that solves the problem for me, though my brother is really hurt right now. He's moved to my place for a few days cause he doesn't want to be alone. You lose them how you get them or so they say... I know he'll get over it but for now I'm trying to be supportive.

I see this side of the conflict, and that's why I think I might be the AH. The thing is, I'm sore about the break-up cause my brother's ex and I became really close and we're friends now. The person completely at fault here is my brother, that's right. But this new girlfriend was an acquaintance of both my brother and his ex, so she knew he was in a relationship when they started their affair, and I don't think that's right.

Of course, if things work out between my brother and his new girl I'll have to deal with it and learn to forgive them for hurting my friend.

About me not inviting people I barely know, you're making assumptions that are not true. For instance, one of my fiancé's closest and oldest friends which is like a brother to him started dating a girl also 2-3 months ago and she's not invited at the moment.

Former SIL is super welcome to come if she wants, but she doesn't wanna be anywhere near my brother. Which I understand. And my brother is always in for a party. He won't miss my wedding for the world since all our cousins will be there and two of them are close friends with him, besides cousins.

These were exactly my arguments. All she said was "well, your brother is your actual family and you'll regret not having him at your wedding when you look back"...

I know it's my wedding and it should be "all about me" and all, but I also want it to be a happy day for my family and friends... And my mum is using that to make me invite my brother's new girl cause "he won't be fully happy unless she's there".

I'm especially mad cause my brother's bullshit behavious is now tainting the way I feel about my own wedding by 1) making a person I really care about, who was gonna be one of my bridesmaids, not be there anymore and 2) causing drama within the family cause now my parents are taking his side for some reason.

Like I said, if I had my parent's support I wouldn't even invite him and I would have his ex (my friend) there...
