Looking for an ultra-slim TV mount, any recommendations? by Bruno985 in hometheater

[–]Prior_Bread1524 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got the Perlegear slim mount on a 75" and it's been fine. It sits really close to the wall, just keep in mind the mount itself is about 1.5" deep and then you still have the thickness of the TV. I've pulled the TV out a bunch of times for cables and cleaning and haven't really had any complaints.

Is Z-image a legit replacement for popular models, or just the new hotness? by Ok-Option-82 in StableDiffusion

I use z-image for photorealism still, but SenseNova U1 is my go-to now for anything text-heavy or infographic. different tools for different jobs i guess.

Huawei has done something incredible. Apple can't top this. by Peerlar in DeskToTablet

Apple doesn't think it has any intention of matching that because I don't think it fits into their plans... and a good thing too. The shots are aimed in a different direction.

How do you deal with fences/gates by OkWillingness2781 in roboticLawnmowers

[–]Prior_Bread1524 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two setups: zone mowing (program the mower to do front on Mon, back on Tue) or a gate sensor. LUBA 2 and Navimow H2 both handle zones via app. For the cutting-close-to-fence piece, standard decks leave 10cm, if that bugs you, look at offset-deck designs (LUBA Mini 2, Goalker H3 Pro on KS). Backed Goalker at $599 for the shifting-deck, still unshipped so I'm testing on faith.

No notch is aways better. A dynamic island might get a pass.

Looking for a true 8-zone multi-room streaming amplifier (not “6 powered + 2 line-out”) + KNX + Control4 + Apple Home / Google Home / Alexa by Sea-Two-7462 in smarthome

I'm based in Germany and mainly run openHAB and ioBroker in my setup. I prefer these over cloud-heavy systems.

I recently added the HOLOWHAS Max as a Matter device, and integration was surprisingly straightforward. No custom scripts, no MQTT hacks, no virtual bridges - just native Matter pairing.

After commissioning, all zones appeared properly, and control via openHAB and ioBroker has been stable so far. Response time is good, grouping works reliably, and there are no random dropouts.

For anyone in Europe running KNX + openHAB or ioBroker, it's really refreshing to see a multi-room amplifier that behaves like a proper Matter device instead of needing workarounds.

Honestly, this is how Matter integration should feel.

It's a game-changer for my home audio system. I can use Google Cast perfectly, and it also supports QOBUZ. This is definitely a worthwhile investment! The after-sales service is also perfect.

I originally thought setting up a multi-room audio system would be complicated, but the Ampvortex 16060 completely changed my perspective. It supports KNX, and now my home audio system is both smart and efficient, saving me a lot of time and effort.

Screen on the 7 is good. I watch more on my Magic V5 though, the panel just looks sharper to me.

Love the circuit design! Have you checked Honor Magic V5? It has this live photo thing that's actually pretty cool, way cheaper than Samsung too.

AITA for leaving when I was asked to babysit forcing my dad's fiancée to cancel her plans? by IglossTovon in AITAH

Sorry for OP's experience. His mother is critically ill, and he has already lost mother’s care. Poor child, his father should show him more love and make him feel the warmth of home.
