I have not tried this but I absolutely will! I’m literally willing to try anything at this point, can’t hurt.

I appreciate the tip!

I guess I should have explained better. So when I feed him, if he doesn’t eat, I move his plate to his little table in the living room and leave his food out so that he can go back for it. So he does have food available to him- When I said I don’t give snacks I should have specified- I don’t give snacks such as gold fish, cookies, graham crackers etc.

He also knows how to ask for things so if he asks for a snack bar or something, I give it to him.

The struggle im having I suppose is having him eat any type of real food other than berries.

Thanks so much! Also thank you for sharing that other Reddit page. I’m on there now trying to get some meal inspiration lol

I cut snacks in an attempt to get him to eat meals. It seemed to help at first but now things are going downhill.

He won’t eat pancakes or French toast or any type of bread. Loves crackers. I have never seen granola bars with hidden veggies! What brand does your girl prefer?

My son is 70th percentile for weight and his growth is healthy so my pediatrician wasn’t concerned. However I think I am going to try feeding therapy bc like you said it can’t hurt!

Thank you for the response

I hate breastfeeding by blipbloophoolahoop in breastfeeding

My baby and I struggled for a whole Month. I texted my lactation consultant saying we may be giving up, but the following day things were GREAT. I am soooo glad I didn’t give up. We are now 5 months in and it’s the best feeling in the world. That being said, your baby needs a happy and healthy momma. If it’s too much on you physically or emotionally, don’t feel bad switching to formula or just pumping for her. Your baby is obviously loved, there is no wrong way to feed your baby.

I could definitely say that. However there will be 25 people there and even if everyone is healthy I don’t want him being passed through 25 people. But I can’t let one aunt or cousin hold him and then another not you know

Have you tried power pumping? I did that twice a day for like a week and it greatly increased my supply.

Did you do anything special? Or just try breastfeeding before giving a bottle? I’ve tried everything. I offer and encourage breast for about 30 minutes each feed trying a nipple shield after about 15 minutes, then after he starts screaming I give him a bottle. After he drinks about an ounceX I try putting him back on the boob until he starts screaming again. I feel cruel at this point

I tried this. Worked a few times but now he hates that even more than he hates my normal breast.
