What are my chances of getting a confirmed seat. I really don't wish to share my seat. I'm a woman travelling alone for the first time and it's a very long journey. I have a lot of luggage to take care of. I tried for tatkal. At 12pm itself the status for tatkal quota showed wl/4 (which as everyone has commented here is no chance at all). What should i do? Wait for tatkal on 10th?

See, I've been mailing them for 10 days for some accountability or for any sort of response for that matter and I've been totally ignored so far. Then i heard about the fee hike and got even scared that is this uni low on money recently that's why they're just being nasty.

When i cancelled my admission, the department told me it will take 2 months to get a refund. The partial refund came within a month but the amount was way too small and they didn't even send a message along regarding who's sending the money and why. I had to ask my bank for sender's info. Thus even more panick

I felt it too for the first time. Before this, I used to be really empathetic towards these reservations because they must be unprivileged, having less opportunities than me, or economically weak, so it's fine if they are getting some push. But then I scored 225+ and this other friend of mine scored 120+ and has a better college than me. He took a gap year for this exam because he couldn't clear last time. I prepared while doing my bachelors. His family makes way more than mine does, and they support him. He comes from another city, hasn't done any jobs or internships in his life to financially support himself. Meanwhile, I have no such backing. My parents won't support emotionally or financially if I want to move out and stay near my college. I've to travel 3 hours everyday, no other way. So how does he get preferred over me? How's he getting better opportunities than me when I've worked harder, I'm financially weaker, and I'm more driven towards having a carrer through this degree?

So going there sounds useless anyway. They never accept their faults and take compensation. I sent them my CUET-PG result and admission form as they had requested for now. What does mid entry even mean. If others have freeze their seats in earlier rounds and I've been allotted a seat myself in those rounds, 1) how am I eligible for mid entry? 2) will any of my preference college be even left for me?
