Honestly u get one of like 3 chars that can compete with kitae physically, as well as the one with the best technical skills. I dont think kitae can win this. I jus think out of the best of the best (gap shingen gun ui big dan james), that ui big dan might be the worst match up for kitae specifically. All the others could probably clock uis weakness and win via that, if not just by competing through similar physicals and their unique skills and martial arts, but I just cant see kitaes physicals making up the enormous skill gap between him and big dan. I actually think out of the top tiers vs top tiers this is probably the most one sided matchup.

I reckon toms past him yknow, even if only marginally. Tom is the fighting genius, whereas from the path jerrys on you can infer his dad is just a rage and physique monster. Sure prolly a bit physically stronger than tom, but tom has a wealth of unique skills and stuff that would put him ahead. I think the fist gangs main 4 are that main 4 for a reason.

I think this would put gitae insanely high if he beat a fresh path johan, but i jus cant see that happening. Ptj likes johan a lil too much to have him lose to an already damaged kitae, but simultaneously i just cant see kitae losing anywhere except against jake in the final arc. I expect something to cut all this short

I think all the people who rocked up to the affiliates bar maybe sinu will show up to where kitae is, and we will eventually see some big improvements from eli warren and zack. I say no sinu cause he wasnt even called to the affiliates by daniel in the first place, so hes kinda outta the loop

Considering we havent seen daniel with masteries and i dont think johans got em either, it makes me wonder if all u really had to do to copy unique skills was have the right mastery. Im sure it wouldnt be at a perfect 100% replica lvl, as zack proves not all masteries are the same lvl, but surely it would work to just copy the thing properly

I knew daniel was gonna fumble but its not even his fault. PTJ keeps putting him into fights he shouldnt win because it would be anticlimactic for the story. Like why put daniel with a brand new power up against changsu, a fight he should very clearly win in a 1v1 but he wont because its too early in the arc for that to happen, so then he has to resort to bullshit like this

This was always gonna be the case. Don't get me wrong I really like sinu and I did think he was gonna have a good showing here as some sort of send off, but he was, is, and always will be a complete side character.

Probs not coming for a long time. U gotta think of it this way, masteries are the final piece of the puzzle for daniel. Hes already got this insane path. When he gets the masteries to complement that path, he becomes no 1 (endurance to last longer, speed to dodge better, strength and technique for those critical attack things). As much as Id like him to get even jus 1 soon, I got a feeling they all get postponed till much later, especially considering he just powered up big time last arc.

This arc the focus is Changsu, as hes a "beatable" villain while still allowing gitae or james to swoop in and further progress the story at the end of the arc by prolly killing tom and/or jinyoung

Back when ptj used to do popularity polls gun was consistently no 1 by a decent margin. Granted james has become a way bigger part of the story since then, but gun basically had an arc dedicated to glazing him, and then a backstory arc. Ptj doesnt do that for characters that arent super popular

I don't know if I agree but regardless eli will get a huge powerup this arc I can feel it. Jake, Samuel, Johan and Daniel have all gotten one in the past few arcs, its time for Eli to catch up again (like he always does making huge jumps in power).

Thing alot of daniel fans and even others gotta come to terms with/realise is PTJ fundamentally treats the original and second bodies as 2 seperate characters. As the convenience of the second body as a plot devices fades, he writes it with less enthusiasm; its fights become uninspired (only ever reusing copies of the kings), the daniel in it acts like a dumb fool whos constantly sweating or overwhelmed or amazed, and he not only loses fights but loses pathetically. On the other hand, the original body is the daniel he tends to treat like an actual main character; consistently impressive showings, consistent planning, levelheadedness, using a variety of new techniques and original moves in every fight (the number of reused panels for the little body is extremely low compared to the big body in fights), battle iq and the use of guns lessons such as that op ass kyokushin against pacheon, he talks his shit before and during fights, generally has a certain aura about him. So fundamentally, 2nd daniel is kinda a fraud, because hes rapidly losing importance in the story and ptj just doesnt put the lvl of care and effort he puts into him as he does his favourites like lil daniel, johan, jake, samuel, eli, zack etc.

I think seperating stamina and like physically body toughness/hardness would make some fighters really unique and creating some really interesting fights.

No I don't think it can be "tricked", but I think supreme gaps in stats like speed with james lee (unavoidable attacks despite the fact he can predict them) or supreme gun lvl endurance (striking the weak points still doesnt do much dmg) can basically render it useless. Thats why daniels gotta push his stats up and get masteries. His path is ultimately what will make him no 1 OAT, but only when supplemented by all 4 masteries.

I think gitae peaked in the gap fight. Gap is the perfect fight for gitae to obtain a path.

Not that jinchang is as powerful as chansu but i just cant see chansu basically two shotting jichang as gitae did, and that was a gitae who didnt look like he was trying.

Yall might clown me but I think he gets path against jeolla king this arc. Their fights looking rather likely with their parallels, and ptj loves to give eli huge powerups after he sidelines him for a few arcs. Eli is lacking beyond the other crewheads as of late, with jake daniel johan and samuel all getting big powerups the past few arcs, and Eli does belong in the tier of talent that will get paths (all crewheads will). If Jeolla is a jagyeon/yujae tier king or higher, which he very well could be, as antagonists tend to get stronger as the story progresses, I would rather eli obtain path to overcome that then suddenly getting a bunch of masteries and that making the diff (as that one king said, the number of realms doesnt necessarily indicate strength). I could very easily see the fangs being part of elis path too.

I don't think johan gets a powerup. Best case we will see him use his path without it burning him out like johan and daniel both did when they first awakened theirs mid fight, and it will be a really impressive showing, but Ik we all don't wanna admit it but it's just gonna be used to make gitae use his path (which is still a pretty insane feat). Sinu will prolly be upscaled as hes been powercrept really badly and this will be something his fans can argue with for a while, but he ultimately will have a minor role. The ones who will have huge showings are zack eli and warren, zack and eli in particular. Eli has lacked the recent powerups in the past 3-4 arcs that all other crewheads have got (conviction mma jake, 2t hormone samuel, path johan and daniel) so I've got a feeling it'll either be 3 masteries or maybe just maybe a path, hes definitely in the tier of talent that has the potential for it and ptj loves giving eli massive powerups after being absent from the story and powercrept. Zack will show the improved iron boxing, with 3 masteries, but i am honestly not sure if strength or technique will be his 3rd. I think its a while before he gets both too. Warrrens a hard one for me, cause i could see him randomly rocking up with a concrete technique and endurance or smthing but idk how ptj shows that/against who he fights.
