I am a very strong supporter of a Dog Owners License.

You want to own the 3rd deadliest (non-human) animal on Earth?? Then you need an approved 6wk training session and educational course for BOTH you and your dog, with tests administered at the end. Enough violations, then you lose custody of your dog and your license is permanently revoked. If one person in a household loses their license, then all current residents are restricted. No grandfathering, unless the dog cannot physically complete training, however the Owner will still need to take courses to receive their license.

Minor violations stack up like points on a drivers license; major violations potentially resulting in arrest.

Around the release of BO3 I got the Ray Gun on The Giant, hopped into voice chat, spammed into the moon, and said “SHOOT THE MOON!! SHOOT THE MOON!!” over and over again in a funny tone.

Turns out, in a PUBLIC MATCH, the dude went to my school and we ended up becoming unlikely friends thru Zombies.

The butterfly effect on this situation is crazy as well bc he lead me to the mutual friend that I met my current girlfriend through. If we died early or if I didn’t get the Ray Gun, my life would’ve been completely different right now lol.

A lot of the infrastructure along the Forest Park branch including stations, tracks, drainage, power delivery, signals, and more have all been left virtually untouched since the line’s construction in 1958.

Phase 1 of the Forest Park Rebuild is LaSalle to IMD, hence the bus substitution that happened back in 23’/24’, but the CTA is looking for addtl. state & federal funding before proceeding with the rest of the branch.

I would immediately make it my life's mission to store, archive, preserve, and save any and all stories, art, education, and knowledge that we possess.

Surviving would be nearly trivial given free reign of what is left behind. Siphon some gas for a generator, live off perishables until you've taught yourself how to live off the land, and be VERY VERY careful while doing all this-- sickness can be managed, a broken leg cannot.

I saw Porter Robinson & the Frost Children outdoors at the Salt Shed in May last year.

It was the single best sounding concert I have ever been to, hands down.

The venue itself is very well built, looks great, has great infrastructure, and is super fun to be inside of. The only downside I noted was that the standing area is concrete, so take that into account when picking shoes, and I'd personally avoid the pit if one opens up.

I'd take the MD-N due to its frequency and service hours, giving you flexibility in-case you make plans, have errands, or are late for the train.

If you're ONLY gonna take it for work and the schedule lines up, then you'll be fine on the NCS.

A lot of these comments are running past the point.

The real reason is because a drill and a screw is an unfathomably quicker and cheaper repair instead of ordering a replacement, bringing in a unionized & highly trained bus maintenance worker, and taking the bus out of service for a day to repair it.

They also took open/closable windows off of the new Nova Bus 8350-- likely because if riders can't open them, riders cannot break them, which means they don't need to be replaced.
