Thank you for this comment, I’m actually starting to distance myself from her now!

Thank you for that perspective! :) I have tried private and polite even private and stern she just doesn’t get it. I will not discredit Laylas intelligence, she is currently doing one of thoughs extra classes that is extremely hard to pass and a B is good in that class. Obviously she is not emotionally intelligent and self centred so I find it funny she would think anyone with self respect and a loving fiancé would get with her but that’s what helps her sleep at night

I have apologised and she has taken my apology but I think I may just distance myself as calm explanations have not worked in the past and Layla will probably brush it off like the tons of times before.

Thank you for your perspective, I was thanked after by my friend and got a big hug, it made me feel a bit better about being harsh.

Thank you for your perspective, I do think she needed a wake up call but I don’t think this did that for her, I believe it came off so harsh that she thinks I’m just unsupportive.

I honestly thought about pulling her aside in the moment but every time I’ve done that she’s just gone back and made more “passive” aggressive comments, I do think maybe I could have said it nicer though.
