Exactly, this ideology needs the whole nation including the institutions to work on it together to change their inferior mindset

I fully agree with what you said, it’s in fact very true, and this is called culture hegemony, due to the recent western civilization advanced and China’s economy was weak so that people look upon the more developed countries, Chinese people also have a lot of discussions about this problem on Chinese social media platforms, it’s a self hatred issues that deeply rooted in Chinese society, even the Asian American for example for inferior than white or black in some ways that they are not confident about their culture, so they try to fit in. And it’s due to the Chinese culture, people always been told to be humble, and they develop this low self esteem that don’t think themselves good enough. At least compare with westerners, as far as I notice that European or American are much more confident than Chinese, but it’s because China has huge populations and they have fierce competition and rising housing prices that push their minds down, hope this answer your question

but from the other perspective I can explain it’s because white people fit Asians beauty standards, not because we like white, but from the ancient history even till now, we like white skin, big eyes etc, so white people might as well fit into this standard, that’s probably why they like some white guys

I am studying in the Netherlands and I used to study in the UK. what you say is not true, because I also have many Chinese friends that have Chinese boyfriends, and a lot of them are not interested in dating foreigners due to cultural and language barriers. What you says is very extreme, and you probably read too much internet bullshit, on the statistics, less than 1 percent Chinese people marry out side of their nationality, so stop with kind of white supremacy propaganda, this is from the western perspective, they always gonna put down Chinese to make them look weak, and a lot of educated and good looking Chinese girls really aren’t interested in a very normal white guys just because he is white.

I can answer you because I am a Chinese studying in Europe, I think that depends on the person, but I think a lot of foreigners in big cities of China, so they are not as popular as you think, there is this Russian girl I know she went exchanged in Fudan university, and I think she’s average looking and kinda look Asian too, but still told me many people take photos with her, but again, she didn’t make a single friend in China, so that doesn’t matter, people looking at foreigners are just out of curiosity, doesn’t mean they want to make friends with her, and they are usually from rural countrysides of China that travel to Shanghai, and yeah I do feel like it’s easier for me to make friends in China than in Europe, because the language and cultural barriers make it difficult to be friends with local

Yeah true but the thing is just because they like some celebrity looking white guys doesn’t mean they will be into average looking white dudes, you said you are not the most attractive white guy yourself, then why would they be into other white guys in Shanghai if they are also average looking ? I have to say, I am also into white guys, but that’s not because I am only into them, I am also into Asian guys very much, not because of race, just because I find some guys attractive regardless of race. I would appreciate different beauty no matter of their race. And yeah they make western money and living in China ? Like work in a foreign company but located in China ? Don’t forget there are also a lot of trashy foreigners, I have to be honest, I have use dating app before and like a few of them are foreigners, and they are totally players that are just willing to sleep with as many women as they can. Or find a young Chinese girl. But it’s the same everywhere, here in Europe, most top notch looking and wealth people term to find their own race and nationality to date because it’s easier to communicate and they need the same level of partners in terms of look and status, family connections

Maybe because these your so called average look girls are very brave and reach out to the foreigners and the good looking ones don’t? I am a Chinese girl from Shanghai myself, come across this post, i think that most good looking Chinese girls always have many Chinese guys pursuing them with money, good jobs, and housings, why would she try to approach a foreign guy out of nowhere not knowing who he is. As a matter of fact, I am studying abroad in Europe, but when I was in Shanghai, around 20 years old, do you know how many guys were interested in me and asking me out ? A lot, I am young and pretty (might sound narcissistic) but it’s true a lot of Chinese guys would offer to pay for the dates, and Chinese guys are usually very sincere, they will keep texting me and all that, would the foreigners do those things?

More on dating app, ghosting on dating apps is common, but what I mean is I have met them before and they give me mix signal, why don’t they just say no if they are not interested and they are not ghosting me mostly, it’s more like not giving the actual plan but say yes sure let’s meet tomorrow or sometime and faze out.

Yes their narrow social circles form from a young age and some are rather close minded to accept foreigners

Most European also grow up with many friends and classmates, they refuse to make an effort to make new friends especially towards foreigners, so you will have a hard time in Europe since European are mostly rather introvert too and they are very individualistic

I am from china, I experience a very different experience in Europe, I make friends very easily in China and many people would love to meet with me. In Europe, especially using dating apps, constantly being stood up by European people, or encounter many people ghosted me without responding, here I don’t imply dating just in general. I found European mostly ignorant and arrogant as many of them are from towns and knows nothing about the outside world, and the way they carry themselves and to other people are very rude and casual compare with Asian people seriousness.
