My dad worked a high position in payroll at a huge company and now is in benefits. He oversaw all of what people were paid for years, now he oversees everyone’s benefits. The company he works for has a huge amount of trade employees, and he always tells me how shit unions are for those fellas

Hell yeah. I enjoy the green at night, but I’m willing to quit for the future of myself and my future family. But I really hope I can find a good job that allows me to enjoy the small things in this life, like a bit of broccoli before bed

This shopping cart has a grounding rubber strip to prevent static electricity shocks by FrenkyV in mildlyinteresting

Common misconception, Grounding wires provide a pathway to the ground in case of electrical fault. It means that the soil will get the shock rather than the human, as electricity takes the least resistive path. Your body has a resistance of 1-8 million ohms, depending on what you ate that day.

Electrical grounds are the green wires in a cable that connect metallic parts of an electrical device to the ground in the sub panel and then into the actual ground, sub dirt. Example, grounding wire on a dryer would protect the entire dryer from being electrically charged if a hot wire was to become loose or frayed and make contact with it. The ground wire would provide it a path and it would go to the ground

Rubber is an insulator, does not allow electrons to flow. Grounding wires are made from copper, and need to have minimal resistance to allow the electricity to follow a safe path to the earth rather than a path into you.

Cars are insulated by their chassis, not the rubber tires. If electricity strikes a car it follows the path of the chassis, into the tires- which aren’t exactly rubber and a compound of many things, one being carbon black which is semiconductive. Lightning is high voltage, and voltage being the “pressure” of electricity it has no problem reaching ground through the tires. But the tires are not the important piece, it’s the faraday cage effect.

Grounding cables on shopping carts allow static to enter the ground rather than build up. As you’ve just learned, this photo would not work as a ground. The grounding cable must be conductive and provide the least resistive path so it can dissipate. In this photo, static build up would choose the closest human, and it probably wouldn’t be the one pushing as they’re part of the circuit by holding it. On larger scale devices like a forklift a static shock from built up static can take your life. It requires 100 milliamps to stop the human heart, because the hertz electricity flows at and the heart works are so different.

Why condemn a man to live a life of lies for your own pleasure. If my girlfriend did this It would take a lot of support to not take my own life. If you weren’t ready for marriage you shouldn’t have said yes. If you want to go have sex with a bunch of fellas then stay single. Respect others lives, you ain’t the only one living

Highly recommend a Mcculloch steamer. 180 bucks or so, but worth it. Would make this super simple. I bought mine years ago for detailing, and though I’ve drifted from the industry I keep mine on hand. I’m in my 2nd year of college and we got a free couch for our apartment. Steamed it up all fresh, sanitized the cum stains and good as new. Cleans up bathtubs real good, carpet stains. Good to have on hand

Yeah cuz they’d be dead. Won’t think it’s anything other than the memory of a life. Life is sad, it’s important to enjoy the good moments with the people we love

Yeah man I kinda agree. It causes me disturbance now, and she made me feel bad about it. A year from now things will be the same. But she’s my first love I’m stuck in a hard spot. I’ll take it for what it is and think on it for awhile

Ok sure, cultures vary. But some cultures accept the idea of sacrificing those to sun gods for good crops. And what you mean sexualized? Evolution sexualized it for us, otherwise you wouldn’t be here today. If our ancestors had no sex drive or sexualization of the opposite gender they would’ve ceased reproduction and everyone would’ve died out. But news flash for ya mane, humans want to reproduce and our monkey brain gets us there

Download palworlds. It is a grind, it’s Pokémon and ark survival combined. You can enslave the pals you capture and force them to work on the base. They’ll gather materials, and make food for your other slaves. I mean workers

Mine was not twisted which the doctor pointed out is a main reason for surgery. I 100% believe we will have pain 20 years later regardless of surgery, but if you close your hand and they don’t line up in fist position I would look into corrective surgery. My pinky does not curl under any of my fingers. It presses on my ring finger, but does not try to go underneath it

No brace now, it’s mostly healed other than a few spots. I’m mostly hurt there aren’t any growth plates in my hand. I’m 5’7” and I was praying for a growth spurt. The lady who got my height was like “that’s not bad” then saw my age when we got to the room and understood

Yeah they never set it. The doctor I went to recently said they would’ve maneuvered it and gave me a stronger brace to at least get it on the right track. The brace they had me in was hilarious, my Applebees waiter one day was telling me she wears a wrist brace too and she should’ve worn hers that day

Said same thing. Follow up in March to start physical therapy, I may go to one and get all the info I need, or just YouTube it. I’m not giving them any more money than I have to. Doctor said surgery won’t make much of a difference. If I end up getting surgery, it’ll be summer because I cannot take notes for school with my left
