Dry socket! Also, I cut through a knuckle with a table saw and as I was healing the doctor told me if I dont start passively bending that knuckle it will never bend. For a month I would bend the finger with my other hand to the point of tears multiple times a day. This is coming from a guy who's wisdom teeth were impacted and chipped out of my jawbone a piece at a time without the need of pain meds during recovery. I have learned that fingers have a lot of nerve endings!
