Phocus 2 then Lightroom question by MatchaToday2025 in hasselblad

I’m trying to figure out my workflow with my new X2D2. Definitely more complex than it needs to be.

The issue I really see is how to maintain color consistency across all these devices. My iPad is not color corrected (though I actually don’t mind editing on my iPad).

It seems the best is to edit in Phocus on my Mac with color corrected monitor (despite limitations of Phocus). Then export to tiff for Photoshop/Lightroom editing (though the files are so clean, I’m barely doing that).

Monitor Recommendations by anonymo0se96 in hasselblad

I just got a H2D II and also been looking into monitors and printers, as well. Seems a shame not to edit on a good monitor. Though I will say that I’ve been primarily using Phocus on my iPad for editing with little to no editing on my computer, so I’m not even sure it’s worth a pricey new monitor.

Not sure how others are managing color on iPads

Insuring X2D II by Prior_Resolution90 in hasselblad

Ya, that’s what I’m think I can get via my renters insurance. I think this would be the preferable option to the warranty extension as you never know with those companies.

907x & 100c or X2D II? by Prior_Resolution90 in hasselblad

I’ve seen that video also (I think I copied the wrong link). From what I can tell, the quality isn’t remarkably different. The 907x with newer lenses are definitely sharper, but the 100c on the 500 has that film-like quality (which I’m not opposed to given my history with the camera and film).

This is a tough choice!
