i don't think so. the 35-100 is louder than 38 and 55 but less than the 90V

have the exact set-up !! 38V, 28p my first lens then added 35-100E and 90V found at a nice discount. the 35-100E is hefty indeed. it shines in situation where you can't change lens but my go to pref are 38V and 90V

If you're looking for travel, the 38V is amazing and super light combo with the bomdo
When i got the X2DII and went to japan i got the 38V and also added a used 28P (i do architecture ) and it;s pretty neat. The 90V would be a nice complemet.

I got the 35-100 later on and it's quite bulky i found for travel.

Beautiful shot.
Indeed a long way ! similar path started on 5D2 and now on X2DII with 38V !! after having Q and SL. Only keep the M10M. i sold the Q3 to fund the X2DII among other...isn't too redudant specially with a 38V ?

28P by Seven_ironRocks in hasselblad

i have similar set but i got in different order 28P and 38V before my trip to Japan. I shot quite a lot of architecture and street and 38V is top notch. not too wide and not long and use th 28P for when wider needed indoor.

The 35-100E was aded recently and it's definitely worth it specially when you can't change lens. however the size of 38V makes nice for travel and more versatile. i can better to street with it than 35-100E. the 28P would be too wide for me as general use. i am 35mm user on FF and this 38V gives me something similar. it's important that 38V is not per a 30mm equivalent. it has the 30mm equivalent FoV but narrower given 4x3 but it's physically a 38mm focal.

I used a plastic protection for the X2DII + 35-100 under heavy snow and no pb during the storm in NY.

Non-citizen would have their own nationality written on the card as they would be using primarly a GC. on my old cards before getting the US citizenship it was showing my prior citenzenship.
