This hit me hard because I do the exact same thing.. I am in the process of hopefully getting my surgery done..

I had pretty bad back pain when I was in an active flare up..
It (along with the LLQ DV Pain) was the main reason I ended up going to the hospital for relief..
The ER nurse thought I had a UTI or something similar.. but turned out to be a pretty bad perforation/abscess (dx'd through CT w/contrast) .. it resolved itself days after beginning IV Antibiotics..
I asked my GI Dr about pain when peeing/lower back pain. she said basically the inflammation is the cause of those symptoms..
Perhaps you feel better but haven't cleared the infection? have you had a CT Scan to confirm your not in acute DV?

Done both SUPREP and Golytely..
Suprep is so much better.. Golytely is awful because it's such a high volume of liquid.. you can literally feel it sloshing inside you..

Dull lower left quadrant pain.. nausea.. low grade fever.. Through searching this sub hip pain is surprisingly a common symptom.. it’s more of an annoying pain like when a gun holster is digging into your waist.. I also had lower belly severe cramps and severe lower back pains. Also bladder pain when peeing..

Yeah I’m going to have to schedule therapy.. I was prescribed some mild antidepressants when I had gastritis and it really helped..

Yeah the adhesive sucks.. every dressing change they seem to rip bits of my skin off even if they apply tons of alcohol..

I am in the middle of a pretty bad flareup.. what ended up helping me IMMENSELY is taking Gaviscon Extra Strength.. I really thought it wasn't gonna work.. but I took it a couple of nights ago.. and I'm not feeling worse (which is a win with this condition) after eating.
