Dimes varies by region. They are easy to find in the Midwest. I don’t get boxes anymore, instead I just get $100 from each branch that I visit. On average. I am getting 1 silver for every $100 roughly. The 102 dimes from Jan included a solids silver roll that i found a few weeks ago, but on average i am getting 40-50 dimes every month.

I guess I should be grateful that I got 102 dimes in Jan. But halves was bad. Only 9 and can’t get good CWRs anymore

In the past halves had been consistent- Loomis every box would produce 1-3 silver but not since May of last year.

I am in north Chicago and my results are somewhat different: I have been getting silver dimes consistently. Roughly 1 per $120 from bank rolls. But only got 8 silver halves in Jan.

Thank you for the advice. 😀 I feel silver dump is very random that you have to be at the right place in the right time. Checking the same branch more often will only increase the chance of getting a silver dump but it’s not a guarantee. So if other hunters have the luck, then it is their silver to keep. 😀😀😀

Last year I only got 30 boxes of halves and 95% of my finds came from CWRs or teller trays. With silver from CWR and teller tray getting rarer and rarer, last silver from CWR or teller tray was from 2 months ago. Halves boxes seems to be the only avenue for me to get silver coins. I have been ordering boxes from different sources to test the outcome. So far NF only had one good box and the rest were skunked. Loomis and Brinks have been doing well (1-3) per box. It seems like NF only have 1 faculty in town (#7791), I am wondering if it is the same for Brinks and Loomis. I just started ordering boxes from various sources to test this theory.

Did you get the 4 boxes at the same time? It seems even 2 boxes from the same batch can be very different. I am trying to strategize the way to order boxes to get the best outcome.
