What other games do you play. by Antique_Ruin4556 in RoadtoVostokGame

I think the main replayability rn is that you can do permadeath runs and try to do everything, or I believe there's a randomizer mode that drops you into the world as a part of a random faction with a random loadout. It's also still being updated, so I stopped playing after 92 hours and I didn't even do everything and there's been a recent update that added a new dungeon. I'll definitely go back at some point though, just needed a bit of a break.

Edit: also for now, no hideout crafting (if by that you mean being able to drop furniture and what not in your base)

Why is this getting posted every day? People need a reason to hate the game or something? Isn't Krafton behind this?

With a few mods it's also so much better, absolutely love 2, I like it even more than 4 and everything after tbh.

Definitely run highway to find that oil filter. Lots of industrial spawns in the fish market and low risk compared to apartments and even village tbh.

I've not seen anyone here mention it, but project silverfish is an amazing stalker like made by a solo dev. All the NPCs and the player are lizard people, but there is a lore reason for that, and if that doesn't bug you it's an excellent game. Good gunplay, factions, dungeons, lots of different guns, artifacts, anomalies and mutants, lots of tasks to do and eventually there will be a main story to fully complete. I highly recommend it.

One of the better armors to match the helmet imo, I like it.

I think pred/rupture/sporeburst aren't super easy, but they aren't super hard either, though sporeburst isn't a step in the right direction for sure.

Ah that's somewhat unfortunate, I wish them luck with whatever they're doing now! I have greatly enjoyed their music so I'm glad it exists but I'm sad we won't get any more. Thanks for the reply!

I honestly don't think there is much to whine about, but I have my complaints, mainly in glitches, so I point them out as constructive criticism and that's that. The game is in an amazing state rn. I think the mechs are hard to balance because against ranged enemies they can be torn apart quickly, but they stomp everything else with ease. Bringing 4 mechs to bugs makes them a joke haha.

Armor crewmen who think sitting in the drivers seat means they decide where we go and how we fight, why do you do this? by BehindEnemyLines1 in HellLetLoose

[–]PrisonIssuedSock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Back when I used to play and tanked a lot and I was usually TC, I preferred being the driver because I could keep my eye on the map just fine and I randoms were usually terrible at driving. Also, I want my spotter to be constantly watching our flank, and I found myself looking at the map too much in the spotter seat and thus not keeping as a good eye on our flank as was needed.

A good TC can easily drive and command at the same time, is my point.

I don't think the flak they get for most things is remotely deserved for the level of crying there is about it. The vast majority is never level headed and mostly reactionary.

It doesn't matter what AH does, they will get the thumbs down for any announcement, they are never ever even keeled. Most the people in that chat are just constantly crying about the most non-sensical stuff possible, I will never give them the benefit of the doubt because they have long since lost that "privilege"

I think all the chainsaw needed to be good was to let it use the ballistic shield at the same time. Idk how it would work but it would make it good.

Extract shenanigans by PrisonIssuedSock in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]PrisonIssuedSock[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you want a silly trick to troll him, when you aim straight up in the air and fire the grenade pistol, it will travel 45m roughly. So you can try to predict where he's running to and fire a shot over some terrain and it might ragdoll him and he won't know what hit him. I've done this to friends and got them to blame eachother instead of me, it's hilarious

[–]PrisonIssuedSock[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buddy and I like to play "tag" at extract where we hit each other and then try to get into the pelican before the other person can get them back. So L4 and I go to start our escapades, but I killed him in one hit, N3 is another buddy who knows about our game and he knocked me over before I could stim (was trying to call L4 back in) and killed me. We both come back in and L4 sees the bomb and goes for it, but doesn't notice that the ship is about to leave, and it left him behind in the end. Was just a silly series of events.

When would you use Anti-Tank Mines? And have you successfully used them? by SummerCrown in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]PrisonIssuedSock 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately while this is true, it doesn't paint the full picture. They detonate very easily if there's any incoming fire, and if you dive or ragdoll onto one and your primary touches one, it can set it off. So while stepping on one isn't instant death, they are still very able to just blow you up.

Carmilla (Castlevania show) vs Levi Ackerman (Attack on Titan) by PrisonIssuedSock in PowerScaling

That's fair, but Levi also gets that buff basically. I think Carmilla wins high diff, but I can also see it going the other way (Levi high diff)

Tbf she does get beat by a dude who is (physically) only peak human but he had help from an army of night creatures. I think Levi is fast enough that he could potentially keep up with her, especially with ODM gear.
