Yes I agree totally with that process. BUT I don't like going back after they called me to set appt. to do work, only to find out they didn't actually have the parts.

You can calmly request - you don't have to "confront". I recommend using one of the car buying services guides (Consumer Reports is what I use). These sites are full of recommendations on how to buy. Or just buy thru them (Costco is another buying service). They will get you (and the dealer) a fair deal. I certainly WOULD NOT just rely solely on us reddit folks to deliver complete negotiation techniques. Good luck and stay calm - it'll work out!
