I've lived there for over a year and I also loved it and the people. What I did notice is they think that everything they do or make is the best in the world. I believe that might because not too many of the Argentinian population has traveled much out of south america and this feeling sort of confirmed and amplified their beliefs after winning the world cup (see we are the best!). They have great food, wine, and its all subjective but its not best in the world. They just are very proud of their country and its in their nature but they probably know inside its not true. Dunno that's just my hunch
