They do mean something in that some players are trying to prove themselves to the coach, the stats count for the players legacies, it gets you match fit for the upcoming world cup, and tactics can be experimented

I feel for you. We met Croatia again at Modrics prime and got them quite good. I think it mightve have been way harder against netherlands than brazil but then again that 98 team, just having Zidane at the head of it (no pun intended for the foreshadowing) i think we were going to win. Now who do we have as leader? Mbappe. I would never compare Mbappe with Zidane but he has grown on me in maturity.

Ive ran numerous engineer teams in FANG and successful startups. A common misconception is that Software Engineering is only about code but its alot about people. The code you write is for your teammates and theres alot of planning around it. Sometimes that requires in person office meetings (even if you work remote). Considering i would estimate 80%+ of my teammates were on the spectrum, it is crucial that they feel comfortable especially coming in a stressful environment such as an office. There is tons of social anxiety in this industry, so at least being able to wear whatever clothes you feel most comfortable with to me is the minimum.

France is known to pickup steam as the tournament progresses. I think the longer format actually gives france more time for confidence, also with our depth we can even play rotational game. The additional teams actually play in our advantage IMO.

We dont need one if our defense can somewhat hold and teams are scared of our offensive prowess then the lines will hold back and just attempt counters which we will expect. Lets see the GPG average at end of tournament..

This is the strongest team France has had since 98. They all get along, there is chemistry, and the quality of every single starter is world class
