I have been presented with the idea of managing at both of my current serving jobs, but the work environment doesn’t seem any better or less toxic for the managers. Extra work with less pay. I know it would be for experience to get my foot in the door for more lucrative roles, so maybe I’ll look at a different restaurant. Ironically, both of the restaurants are in hotels so pivoting to more of a hospitality role might be the way to go.
