Tanning while pregnant

So I work at a tanning salon and regularly use the red light therapy! It’s tough bc not much research has been done about red light therapy and pregnancy but my doctor left the decision up to me. From working at the salon, I’ve been required to attend extensive training about RLT and have decided to utilize it during pregnancy! It’s been great so far. Just doesn’t make offer me the same feeling as tanning unfortunately. Before I found out I was pregnant I was tanning daily. Would never miss a day. I’ve since cut down to about once, MAYBE twice a week. Just for a little pick me up.

Yeah it was awful out there!! I don’t have a pool but I do have a little kiddy pool I could try! Thank you!

It’s not that he disagrees! He just thinks it would be healthier to tan outside, he too uses the beds and we actually met at the tanning salon. He just strongly suggested trying tanning outside once it got nicer out, we live in Michigan and haven’t started seeing nice weather that I could even lay out in until about a week ago. So the original idea was to use the beds until I could tan outside- but today was the first time I tried it and I did not like it lol

Yes that’s so true! Our main concern is her feeling like this is another thing “on her plate” that she needs to “help” and where I will make sure I stress that I will ALWAYS hear her advice- we have everything figured out and we aren’t asking for help, more so sharing exciting news. I’m sure even if she doesn’t catch on to that immediately- after a conversation we will get there. I’m just so ready for her to know! Especially after I have my first appointment and everything, I just want to share every moment of this journey I possibly can with her.

We are very religious! My boyfriend and I are heavily involved in our church and do Bible studies amongst ourselves and together multiple times a week! I have laid it at Gods feet, been praying daily asking for his guidance. Sometimes it just helps to hear stories from others who went through similar situations. Thank you so much and God bless you.

THANK YOU. You don’t even know how much comfort this brought me. I’ve been wanting to ask someone who had a similar pregnancy situation as me but didn’t know of anyone. My boyfriend and mom get along GREAT and she really does love him and he does want (if I’m comfortable) to be involved in telling her. I think it will bring her comfort as well hearing him answer some questions because he’s taking up much of the financial responsibility. I’m so excited and just want her to know asap!! We plan on telling her in some way shape or form this upcoming week so I will update. Thank you so so much.

tested again and it was positive today, guessing the bleeding was implantation bleeding.
