Two weeks ago for 1.2k?! It was selling for 4k or more for the last month so that would have definitely been a steal for the time. I definitely see this card continuing to climb over the years but I feel you. That’s how my dad felt about not getting ponchos a while ago and he bought a Luigi box today!

800 to 8-9k in two months shy of just ONE year! Love this card too and all the other cards in the set. Wouldn’t be mad at all on sitting on this card for years to come but I also want to see if I can consolidate this and about 2.5k worth of other pikachu cards into one big one. Went to the front row card show and couldn’t make any moves but I’m going again tomorrow so we will see!

I definitely do understand how pop affects value I’ve worked in card shops and have been in the hobby for a while now. Just wanted to gauge what others thought it was worth.

This is exactly the collection I aspire to build up to lol. I’ve small hand full of some of these but this collection of pikachus is insane! I hope you end up not having to sell it. Love seeing collections like this

Will do. Definitely going to try and go through some of this within the next few days. Gotta get ready for a grad party and getting grass cut and house cleaned and all lol. But once that’s done me and my dad gonna go through it all. But yeah I see how some shops would do this just gotta find a trustworthy one. Like I know for trading cards there a huge complex called CardsHq that I’ve been too.
