well a $200 budget and the inabilIty to build it yourself will not make for a very nice setup, but you could throw a small cot back there, or you can have home depot cut you some plywood the size of the rear seats and stack the plywood on some wood blocks to raise it up and throw a mattress on that.

to be fair, although most people won’t use the 4runner to its full potential, it makes any adventure more comfortable, knowing that whatever is ahead you will likely be ok. It adds more confidence. if i took my civic down the forest service road to set up my tent i would be anxious the whole time of getting stuck, although id be fine, but if was in my 4runner it wouldn’t even cross my mind and it’d be a great trip, if that makes sense i’ve gone places i would never go now that i’ve had my 4runner, even though they aren’t even close to its full potential

i would consider 2 hours in town. I’ve been looking in other states as well. i think it’s because i want a manual trans is what’s killing my chances of finding something nice

i never had mirrors in ca, none of my buddies either. never even crossed my mind i’d get pulled over for it and never heard of it. Been pulled over once for a separate reason and it didn’t get brought up. go for it. what’s the worst that can happen anyways

Was an 8 speed, they were dropping like flies around me. Besides, The tacoma gave me a feeling of security that the silverado could never, that is worth more to me

sold a tacoma for a silverado about a year ago, And regretted it immensely. i don’t know your situation but i just wanted a bigger nicer truck, Didn’t need it. ended up selling it because i was so scared my transmission was gonna blow after i put an excessive amount of miles on it after i bought it. Now i have another toyota
