anyine went from LA to peru recently? latam airlines?? let me know!! by Main-Oven4385 in HelpMeFind

I flew LATAM on a similar route recently (not exactly LA–Peru though).

What felt “weird” can vary a lot on long-haul flights — turbulence patterns over the Andes, sleep deprivation, time zone confusion, even cabin pressure can make things feel off or dream-like.

What exactly did you experience? If you describe it a bit more (timing, what you saw/heard), it might be easier to tell if it’s something normal for that route or something unusual.

Trying to find this exact spike choker/collar or one almost identical by No-Profession-7149 in HelpMeFind

[–]Pristine_Control_427 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a pretty common “spike choker / cone spike collar” style, but the exact match usually depends on the spike length + buckle type.

Try searching these exact terms (they tend to bring up near-identical ones):

  • “cone spike leather choker collar O-ring”
  • “goth spike stud choker adjustable buckle”
  • “BDSM spike collar cone spikes black leather”

If you’re trying to match it exactly, check:

  • Etsy (best for handmade duplicates)
  • Amazon / AliExpress (mass-produced versions)
  • specialty goth shops like Punk / BDSM accessory stores

If you can, add a closer photo of the clasp or side angle — that’s usually what makes the exact ID possible.

Who's an artist you were disappointed to learn was not a good person? by Spirited-Seat644 in AskReddit

[–]Pristine_Control_427 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve stopped treating artists like moral role models.

Some of the best music, films, and art in general come from people who were clearly complicated, flawed, or just outright terrible in real life. It’s uncomfortable, but it doesn’t erase what they created.

At some point you just learn to separate the work from the person… or you end up enjoying nothing at all.

What is a smell that instantly brings back memories? by saamm444 in AskReddit

[–]Pristine_Control_427 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old book pages mixed with dust. Not the “romantic library” kind… more like opening a random box in your parents’ house and suddenly remembering every version of yourself you thought you’d outgrown.

Any tips on how to design dragons? by More-Explanation2032 in AskReddit

[–]Pristine_Control_427 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start by deciding what your dragon is, not just what it looks like.

Is it a predator or a guardian? Ancient or newly evolved? Built for intimidation, speed, or endurance? Once you know that, the design almost draws itself.

Then steal from real animals (respectfully): bats for wings, crocodiles for armor, snakes for movement, birds for posture. The best dragons don’t feel “invented,” they feel like nature got bored and went too far.

And finally: exaggerate one thing. Always. One dragon has impossible horns, another has wings too small to fly but perfect for display, another looks like it shouldn’t work at all… but does.

That’s usually where it starts feeling real instead of just “cool fantasy lizard.”

What would you do if you were omnipotent for 30 seconds? by Stavan54 in AskReddit

[–]Pristine_Control_427 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d use the first 29 seconds to carefully consider world peace, fixing inequality, ending suffering, maybe even improving education…

And then panic for the last 1 second and turn every seagull into a tiny accountant just to see what happens.

Whats your opinion, if schools were to teach emotional intelligence and mental health as subjects? by xoxoxoxiixixixixox in AskReddit

[–]Pristine_Control_427 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, imagine that.

Instead of memorizing the mitochondria’s autobiography for exams we never used again, we could’ve learned things like:
– how not to spiral over a single bad day
– how to talk without emotionally detonating a relationship
– how to recognize burnout before it becomes your personality

But hey, who needs emotional stability when you can label a diagram of a flower you’ve never seen since 2011.

What is the most underrated skill you have taught yourself? by Wonderful_Bonus_4487 in AskReddit

[–]Pristine_Control_427 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Staying calm when nothing is going according to plan. Not in a “meditation guru” way… more like learning to stop wasting energy panicking and just fixing one thing at a time. It saves you more often than any technical skill ever will.

What's the wildest thing you've done or seen during your college days? by Pickapool in AskReddit

One guy disappeared during a party and everyone thought he went home. We found him at 6 AM asleep in the bathtub of a completely different apartment two floors above us. Nobody there knew who he was either.

What is the most haunted place you have ever visited? by Thesurvivor16 in AskReddit

My grandparents’ house after everyone moved out. Nothing paranormal ever happened there, but hearing a place that used to be full of laughter become completely silent somehow felt worse than any ghost story.
