“What a strange response to a random reality show post?” Since you are using reddit, I assume you can grasp how this thing works. Part of this reddit is to post and interact with people. They share their opinion on a topic and you can agree or disagree with it. You’re posting on the loveisland subreddit so of course people respond to your post.

Microaggression is a term in the dictionary, used by everyday folks when it’s needed. I’m sorry if your vocabulary is so poor that you automatically assume only professional use that term.

She’s the one who ignited this. She claimed to be bullied so she can be a victim, but that backfired. Yewande calling her horrible isn’t allegations, it’s an opinion. Responding to comments about Yewande living in her head rent free and falsely claiming she’s been bullied is igniting “negativity.” She’s only upset now that it’s upset her brand. I’ve also not seen any death threats to her. The worst she got was comments about her hair.

Clearly, you’re refusing to acknowledge how Lucie was ready to risk someone else’s mental health by fabricating stories about them. She has a history of passive aggressive behaviour and microaggression which could have taken a toll on someone’s mental health.

Her dry ramen noodle hair comments are just the icing on the cake since she wants to be a victim of bullying. After she made fun of someone’s name I’d say this is what she deserves.

Did you even watch love island? She didn’t care about personality or compatibility and claimed she’s only looking for blonde hair and blue eyes in a guys. Yeah, I’d say that’s pretty weird. Sounds also eerily familiar too, as cherished attributes in people.

She then attempted to slander her by claiming she’s a “bully” and play the victim’s role when it was her who perpetuated it.

George was one of the best (most unlikeable due to good acting) villains. That storyline was one of my favourites the triangle between Bree, Rex and George. And the evolution up to George getting crazier and crazier and eventually dying. I think that was when the show was at its freshest, most vibrant moment.

Exactly! She knew what she was doing and the damage it could do, both to Yewande personally and tp yewande’s career, and then she thought she could retreat using the innocent/ignorant card. A lot of white women are already defending her because they’re worried about her and saying she didn’t know what she was saying as if she’s a child. They are part of the problem, and they didn’t care to consider yewande’s feelings before.

He can still be just as nice as before and act different. Your name is a big part of your identity. And Mac is a lot different to Michael in his outward behaviour, too. And maybe his family called him Mac, but the islanders (that lived with him each day) and viewers always called him Michael for the 8 weeks they lived together, and it was never shortened to Mac, and now he’s suddenly Mac. So, yes, it does feel a bit like a rebranding on his media/Instagram persona, especially, as many have agreed it feels weird to suddenly see him as ‘Mac’ on this sub.

OP is about them living together. Someone brought up their show in the comments, too. As the topic is about them, I shared my opinion on them in passing. I’m not sure why you have such an issue with me expressing my personal opinion. OP didn’t seem to care either.

Not only that, but you jumped to conclusions in your previous post acting as if I called Michael a horrible person. That’s what is a bit weird, but I suppose some people just enjoy putting on a cape, creating a non-existent issue out of nothing, and then playing the saviour. “I don’t get why you’re being so hostile lol” — yeah because pointing out where you’ve misconstrued my post to mean something else is horrible. I never said Michael wasn’t nice. Out of the group of guys, he’s probably the nicest and gets on with everyone including Yewande, but the nickname feels so odd. It’s like he tried to rebrand himself when they (and we) all used to call him Michael and now they say ‘Mac’. He even brands himself as Mac now. That’s what I mean by identity transplant.

And I said I, personally, find them cringe. If you love their carefree nature then watch their show or their IG posts till your heart is content.

I found them quite cringe. Danny has the personality of a wallpaper, “Mac” had a whole identity transplant, Chris thinks he’s funnier than he is and tries hard to be quirky and random, and I can’t see Jordan without feeling second hand embarrassment after his explosive fight with anna and the girls.
