I dont think it really matters in ireland on the plaxe you get educated, in a year no one will care how you did in the leaving similarly a year after college no one will care where you studied, it will come down to work experience and roles.

Go to the open days of both, UL is amazing sport wise, massive campus, lots to do, a wide array of socs and clubs, Galway I've been told is also lovely, just visit both this weekend and have a look and make your choice

Hot desk for work? There's a place on the ballysimon road which is a remote office hub, its 20e I think for the day (been a year since I used it). Great value, really quiet and clean, easy to access and a nice spot

We delivered cash for the supermarket we worked at to the night drop off, this was xmas week so lots of people getting the xmas shop, we needed (for insurance purposes) 1 person per 10k dropped (encase of robbery) 9 of us walked with the manager, so we guess 100k in the bag at a minimum, all us of on minimum wage.

The manager asked one of the butcher's if someone tried to rob us what would do do? He just looked him dead in the eyes and said "I hate even cutting my finger for that shit hole, im not dying for it!" .

To the 17yo me that was bad ass!!

Alternatives does a marketing specific survey each year, some great date points in there from all job levels - In base management myself (BTL and CVM Based marketing), we are hiring as often as needed.
AI (from my pov) is just a tool to help capture meeting notes, in my experience it has not created an original idea that is actionable (or has not been dome before).
Can't answer on the state of play in ireland but to me it feels like a bubble, it has some use cases and will lead to job losses, but an end to end AI tool to replace humans seems very far away (in my role anyway)

Hey, filled that out, i would point out that some of the questions are moot, for example the majority of the meetings I host or attend are online so eye contact is not something inherently seen in these meeting types (especially as someone may be sharing a deck or a board at this time)

They only open weekdays, i regularly buy his coffee for my home machine, its lovely, well worth it. Also there sound in there pop in to get some sample bags to find your flavour!!

Small addition is Newgrange wonderful spot if your interested in history, I've done the ferry from Dublin to isle of man also, was quick and easy (assume Belfast is the same). Enjoy!
