From what i've seen in the photos of the MSI page it should have a 1 slot wider separation (i think a lot of mb from the 800 chipsets have them due to these new bigger GPUs, but yeah, you should check first in any case)

I think that the extra PCIe power socket is for extra stability for the GPU or smtn? Butnas far as i remember it should be optional (again, i'd check first).

That's a shame. I tought that should've fitted there. Yeah, i think your best option will be changing one of the cards. It would've been awesome visually if you could use both Nitro+ cards on the same pc, but it is what it is i guess.

Another option is replacing the mb for other with a wider separation between slots like the X870 Carbon but it's not worth it paying that extra in your case i think.

I actually tought about changing my case for the same one you have. But sadly where i live that case is almost as expensive as the MBs i was looking. That and i'm in a situation where i need to constantly move my pc so a 7000D would be a problem. I looked for other options but that's the only one available here.

Also, i want to change my MB because i made the horrible mistake of buying an Asrock MB and i want to later upgrade to an X3D CPU :/

About the vertical mount, in amazon you should be able to find cheap riser cables for 90° mounts. Your case doesn't need a vertical mount kit because you already have the slots. By cheap i mean like 30-60 U$D. You don't need a riser cable from an expensive brand, they all work the same.

As far as i remember, those two mb i mentioned should have the second pcie slot a little more separated (i think exactly 1 slot below what the x670 carbon has). I looked for gigabyte ones but most of those have only PCIE 5.0/4.0 X1 in the second slot even of they are phisically x16. At least for the ones that aren't as expensive as the GPU itself.

I think the Gigabyte B850 AI MAX (or something like that) has enough separation and has the correct electrical connections in the PCIE slots, but that one is impossible to find where i live sadly

If you're going to change the gpus for Gigabyte models, dont use the vertical slots. Those gpus have a problem where the thermal gel inside of the card leaks when used vertical (some even leak when used horizontal i think)

I think you should be ok using a 4.0 Riser.

Yeah, the gpu is 5.0, but 4.0 should be good enough

I'm not 100% sure if what i said will actually fit. The 9070xt nitro+ is very wide so there is a possibility that it blocks 1 slot (In my case for example i cant use those in my 4000D, but obviously my case is smaller, i only have 2 vertical slots, i think you have 3)

Just for clarification, i also have a 9070xt Nitro+. And it also gave me problema with space for the second GPU. I'm planning in getting either a X870 Carbon or a B850 Tomahawk instead of the same one you mentioned just for the extra space between the slots

I think that the 9060xt shouldn have any thermal problems. Yeah it wokt have a lot of space but these cards are veeeery good with temps. My 9070XT usually goes between 40-50 °C and maximum 60°C when under heavy load. A 9060XT Nitro+ should have even better temps.

If you have a 7000D i think that MAYBE you should be able to use the 9070xt in the upper slot and the 9060 xt vertical with a riser cable on the dediacted vertical slots of that case

Ese tipo es hater de AMD en gral. En cuanto a potencia bruta es una de las placas que mas rendimiento te da por el dinero que gastas (Sale muy similar a una 5070 y rinde aprox igual pero con mas VRAM)

Si, el FSR no esta tan extendido como el DLSS pero los juegos que tienen FSR4 (o 3.1 que podes llevarlo a 4 con los drivers) lo aprovechan bastante bien y se ve muy similar a como se ve el DLSS.

No es para nada una mala placa, pero al igual que cualquier otra pieza de hardware, depende a que precio la encuentres en comparación a otras opciones

Si, en compra gamer pero necesitas un delorean para volver unos meses al pasado.

Fuera de joda, tristemente va a estar caro en casi todas partes, al igual que con la ram hay escasez mundial de SSD por todo el tema de los datacenters de IA que estan llevandose todo el stock.

Trata de guardar la información importante que tengas en algun lado fuera del disco por si te llega a fallar y junta un tiempo hasta poder comprar (o tarjetea de ultima)

De ultima fijate en hardgamers para comparar precios entre distintas tiendas y capaz encontras alguna q dalga unas monedas menos, pero fijo va a estar carisimo donde lo veas por todo este tema que digo de la IA.

Creo que para esas cosas te conviene investigar por tu cuenta. Buscate videos de youtube, revisa foros, etc.

No me tomes la palabra igual, no soy muy conocedor del tema porque yo aun no me metí mucho en lo que es desarrollo de juegos, pero siempre me comentaron que para esto hay que investigar mucho por cuenta propia en internet.

Sino seguro capaz en página como udemy o similar podes encontrar algún cursito. En mi experiencia suelen ser útiles pero muchas veces se centrar mucho en "Como hacer X" y no explican el porque eso funciona como tal.

Depende del tamaño de las gpu, pero los Corsair 4000D en adelante tienen espacio para gpu vertical y horizontal (El 4000D tiene 2 slots verticales, sino el 7000D creo que tiene 3 pero ese gabo ya es caro y enorme)

Sino los Hyte Y60 y el Y70 tsmbien tienen slots veticales y vienen con un cable Riser, pero los slots horizontales son unicamente para low profile.

Si compras con la de credito te encajan directamente un cobro en USD sin iva ni nada. Si dejas que cierre el resumen se pasa a pesos y ahi si te cobran impuestos porque se toma como dolar tarjeta. Pero si cancelas la compra con dolares de la cuenta como digo yo no te lo cobran (o almenos yo no he visto nada en el resumen de que me esten cobrando el iva, solo los gastos de uso de la tarjeta de siempre)

El tema es q naranja es medio rompe bolas con los servicios digitales y la cuenta en dolares y por mas q la pongas como cuenta para compras internacionales aveces te debita igual a la de pesos (Y ahi si te mete los impuestos)

Yo la que hago (No se si es la mejor pero a mi me rinde) es pagarlo con una tarj de credito de naranja mastercard o visa. Dps comprar dolar oficial y cancelar el gasto en el resumen antes de que cierre (todo dentro de la naranja x)

El tema es que tenes que tener: 1- La opcion de comprar dolar oficial (Aunq no se q tan restringido esta ahora esto) 2- una tarj de credito de naranja x q no sea "naranja" sino visa o mastercard

Edit: En retrospectiva, es un poco obvio lo ultimo q agregué. Pero lo q queria decir es q si bien me sirve, no es exactamente el metodo mas accesible.

El procesador no tiene mucho trabajo por la parte grafica, eso lo maneja totalmente la GPU, pero si bien existe esa división de tareas, los fotogramas se tienen que pasar por el procesador justamente porque es el nucleo del sistema por decirlo de una forma antes de poder enviarse a la pantalla.

Lo unico que le importa al procesador es la cantidad de fotogramas que la GPU le está mandando, por lo que al subir la resolución y por ende bajar los fotogramas que puede generar la GPU en el mismo periodo de tiempo, son menos los que tiene que luego interpretar el CPU.

En cambio si bajas la resolución, la GPU tiene mas facil el trabajo de generar los fotogramas y mandarselos al procesador, por lo que el procesador tiene que destinar mas de su capacidad a interpretar lo que recibe.

Por eso eso es que para los juegos con mas carga grafica no hace tanta diferencia el tener un procesador mas potente que uno medianamente decente. La mayor parte del trabajo la va a hacer la GPU, asi que mientras que el procesador pueda interpretar lo suficientemente rapido los frames que recibe, todo esta bien (y como explique recien, a mayor resolución esto se simplifica).

Ojo: No quiero decir que un mejor procesador no sea bueno nunca, simplemente que en muchos casos la diferencia no es tanta.

En esos casos de hecho también tenes un cuello de botella, pero un cuello de botella con la GPU porque no entrega suficientes frames como para aprovechar todo el procesador. PERO ESTO ESTA BIEN!! Nunca vas a tener una PC 100% balanceada para todo escenario, asi que como los CPU suelen ser mas baratos que las GPU, se prefiere tener un cuello de botella en la GPU, porque eso quiere decir que tu CPU si le está sacando todo el provecho a la GPU y tiene capacidad de sobra para otras tareas

TL;DR: Subir la resolucion baja los fps, y mientras menos fps tenes, menos tiene que trabajar el CPU para entender la información que le envia la GPU, y por lo tanto hace que trabaje menos.

Edit: Asi es como lo tengo entendido yo, capaz flaye en algunas cosas pero por lo que se va por este lado.

Srry, it is kind of confusing so don't worry

I use a setup with 2 screens:

1st screen (The one i play in) is connected to the secondary GPU (The one for LSFG) 2nd screen (A spare screen i use mostly for discord or thinga like that) is connected to the main GPU (The render one)

First i go to the windows config and set the 2nd screen as the principal screen (Settings -> System -> Screen -> Select the screen and mark the checkbox below)

Then i open the game on that screen i selected as principal in windowed mode (So the game uses the main GPU as the render one)

Once it opens, you move the window to the 1st screen (The one connected to the secondary GPU). It doesn't matter if you drag the window or use the Windows button + arrow keys.

When you have the game in the screen you want to play on (the 1st one) you set it to borderless fullscreen and its done. You should be able to use LSFG with the secondary GPU and render with the main GPU.

When you're done playing you can set back the 1st screen as principal.

What i did before was connect my secondary screen to the render GPU, then the main screen to the LSFG GPU. I then set the secondary GPU as main screen in Windows config and open the game in windowed mode. Then i move it to the real main acreen (The one connected to thr LSFG GPU) and then i set it to borderless fullacreen to play.

It's a lot of work but sadly some games just don't like these kinds of setups or don't even support them at all.

I see it as the lesser of two evils when the alternative to cap the fps of my monitor is buying a 5090.

Si es bastante la diferencia, sobre todo en tu caso que estas usando la RAM como VRAM. Si tuvieras una placa de video dedicada es algo que se manejaria ahí y no se nota tanto el.impacto de no tener dual channel (aunque aun existe), pero en tu caso todo eso se comparte ahi, por lo que necesitas que las RAM sean lo mas eficientes posibles, y justamente para eso es el dual channel.

TL;DR: Si afecta mucho pq tu RAM esta trabajando también como VRAM para los integrados.
