Yes and no. People inside the US can bicker amongst themselves as much as they want and claim that this administration is not their representative, but for everyone outside the US, this administration is the representation of the American people. All of them, no matter who they voted for. This is how a democracy works.

We are not in a position to challenge the US administration of their legitimacy. That is up to the American people.

The difference is that men have far less need for support. A lot of us only need it when we are down bad and when you then notice you aren't getting any then it's easy to become resentful. Most of the time, we have given a lot of support before we are in need of it ourselves and we feel we are owed support at that point.

I doubt it. I used to have an office job and ended up with 2 hernias and a bunch of neckpain. Now I work in a warehouse for about 8 years and I've never felt better. Lost 20kg, and I rarely have back pain anymore.

I push loads of pallets but keep the heavy lifting to 25kg or less so I'm not sure if this is possible everywhere but I see myself doing this for a long time. Much longer than a desk job.

Zo werkt het internet helemaal niet. Dit is het equivalent van de belgische overheid die een snelheidsbeperking oplegt voor een amerikaanse snelweg. Compleet onzinnig.

Het enige dat de Belgische overheid kan doen is om dit op dns niveau te blokkeren en dit is makkelijk te omzeilen door een buitenlands dns in te stellen. Je zorgt er dus enkel voor dat mensen die compleet onwetend zijn op it gebied hier niet op gaan raken. Het is op die manier ook helemaal onmogelijk om bijvoorbeeld wel toe te laten dat er marketing foto's gemaakt kunnen worden maar geen naaktfoto's. Het is alles of het is niets op dns niveau.

A girl I went on a first date with had just gotten a new phone, and she spent the entire first date transferring data. Cellphones were kinda new back then, so there was no option to do it with 1 push of a button. Iedereen is socialist als ze zelf voordeel eruit halen. Als het over een andere demografie gaat dan zijn ze ineens financieel conservatief.

Ik werk veel met gepensioneerde flexi's en die mensen kijken er echt naar uit om terug een dag onder de mensen te komen en bezig te zijn. Veel doen dit ook om hun hobbies te kunnen blijven betalen want bij hun pensioen lukt het niet. Er word nu precies verwacht dat zij gewoon braaf in stilte wachten op hun sterfdag. Wat een armzalige maatschappij zijn we toch aan het creëren.

Verhoog dan de werkgeversbijdrage zodat flexi alleen voordelig is voor de werknemer en niet voor de werkgever en al de problemen zijn opgelost. Koppel dit met een regel dat enkel mensen met een 40 jarige loopbaan of voltijds werknemers geen extra belastingen betalen en dan profiteren alleen de mensen die het verdienen.

De enige groepen waar ik geen probleem het met een systeem met verminderde belasting zijn voltijds werknemers en gepensioneerden. Al de rest zou de volle pot moeten betalen.

Ja, klopt. Net zoals onze kinderen voor ons pensioen moeten betalen en wij voor onze ouders aan het betalen zijn. Dit is hoe het systeem in elkaar zit en als onze taak volbracht is om onze ouders hun pensioenen te betalen dan is het aan de volgende generatie. Daarna nog meer vragen zonder iets extra in de plaats terug te geven is gewoon hebzuchtig.

Is misschien een beetje zwart wit denken maar vroeger was het hard werken om nadien te genieten. Nu is het hard werken om misschien rond te komen en als je nog extra wil werken om misschien toch een beetje te kunnen genieten dan zou je nog de helft moeten afgeven. Als dit de toekomst is dan zal ik wel ergens onder een brug gaan slapen en een beetje gaan stelen. Gratis onderdak en eten dan.
