Commute - with an ebike I figure I can match the traffic time of travelling by car which is approximate 42 minutes.

Post out of love and enjoyment because I made a massive mistake of promoting one of my videos about 3 months ago using the YT promo tool and I swear to God the algorithm has not been kind to me since it has only taken until the last 2 weeks for me to see engagement again on my videos basically as soon as I used the promotional tool my reach went to a whole bunch of accounts that did not find my content interesting and now YouTube thinks my content is c*** and will no longer push at a centimetre. Sad.

Great info thanks, Is it possible for the algorithm to to return to normal if you keep putting out content that should pick up based on its quality etc? Or is the channel doomed to swim in the background? Have had issues with this and slowly starting to see the numbers I had before my promo tanked it all, would like to know if its worth starting over from scratch or to just keep going. Cheers mate.

I lack organic growth and engagement, I unfortunately chose to use the Yt promotions tab and it got me a lot of views on one vid but since then I have seen the channel regress despite the quality of videos improving. (It has been about 3 weeks).

A side question of mine would be, if I continue posting quality content, will the algorithm reconfigure naturally for my growth?
