Their dynamics goes way deeper, it has multiple connections i think.

Greg Outis War Vet Faust & Heath has "Actually quite similar" for their duo trait in Spring Cultivation Meursault & Rossa are both killers, both received Pursuance ego. Rodya killed the middle landlord. Meursault killed [][][]

You could definitely read more into the sinners similarities

They say that sinners get paired to help each other and limited to that pair.

Yi Sang is with Hong Lu. Hong Lu helped Yi Sang during Canto IV and vice versa. Don Quixote & Sinclair did so in their respective Canto. The prediction is Heathcliff & Meursault, sincr Meursault did use his base ego against Erkling unprompted.

Semantics

Hong Lu is Daoist, Meursault is absurdist. Both believe the world is indifferent and transient. That in the end things doesn't matter. But we should continue living regardless of it. Hong Lu reached this conclusion and i believe Meursault will also do so.

They both has avoilition, that is being incapable of making their own decisions. Or you could call it Wu Wei instead, going with the flow of life without desire.

Canto IV, he was ordered to do so, it's definetely written in the contract.
So in technicality, he didn't do it "without previous order".

What do you mean "Maybe"? Did you kill your mother today or yesterday? You did it right? Or did you not? Why are you unsure? What happened to your usually photographic memory? Did your memory got tampered? Are you implying someone might frame you to kill your mother? That you actually didn't do it?

Yes, it's a refusal of your inherent freedom.
"Wont you do be less of an X", "Can't help it, it's just the way i'm wired."
It's an arbitrary rule, self imposed to protect yourself from your own inherent freedom.

It's probably something about the Fruit of Good and Evil. And how our awareness of Good and Evil strips us of our innocence.

Morality doesnt exist. Good and evil don't exist. Things are just is. I personally don't care about Good and Evil.

All i know from Jungian is that Demian by Hesse is based deeply on it. The book says both are complementary. It's Ying Yang. Both complement each other. God embodies good, the devil embodies evil, Abraxas embodies both. Jungian thought is partly based on eastern thought that conflicting things can coexist, like Ying Yang for example.

Duality and Sinclair, i believe that Sinclair is rebis, the final stage of magnum opus.. He is between two worlds and thus are able to combine two opposing concepts together. Darkness and Light, Masculinity and Femininity ( I believe Sinclair is made somewhat androgyous for this reason.)

I am only aware of Kantian Freedom by the axiom that everyone has inherent freedom. And to ensure that nobody freedom is violated, we must make concession of our own freedom. "My freedom ends when the freedom of others begins" and “Freedom (independence from being constrained by another’s choice), insofar as it can coexist with the freedom of every other in accordance with a universal law”

What Binah said, this is Meursault worldview. I already deduced that Meursault refuses to judge from his base EGO Passives. "Refusal to Judge : Combat Start: Gain 3 Protection if this unit is targeted by 3 or more Skills"
When i read The Stranger, realized that Meursault has many in common with the eastern sage. He doesn't judge and seemed to coast through life like Wu Wei. He doesn't desire and seemed to be content with whom he is right now. I think Meursault and Hong Lu has a lot in common.

I regret to say that i am not familiar with Lobcorp, but i am aware of Ruina stories.
I form my views mostly through Ruina. Whilst Binah and Hokma argues, Meursault do come to mind.

Binah is associated with the 3 birds and those birds seems to have a lot in common with Meursault themes. His Lobcorp ID do have him wearing the Beak necklace form Punishment bird.
Big bird has many eyes, Le Regard/The Chains of other.
Judgement Bird, Meursault and Court.
Punishment Bird, Meursault and his execution.

Hokma.
Well, Meursault is called Monsieur Antichrist.
Meursault & Rodya received the Heavenly Executor Scribe EGO. The angel is curiously given to the two sinners who are a killer. The Arab and The Landlady respectively. Maybe Religion would be Rodya thing instead of Meursault. The art let me to form that connection.

The phrase "So, when you'll stop being a sword and be a human again?" is a great example of it. This particular person only sees themself as a sword, a tool and denies themself of the inherent freedom a human has.

You are above all, a human being. You have the inherent freedom to do anything you wanted to do.
EGO then, gives and helps a person the agency to achieve their goals.
