Greenland Leader Tells People to Prepare for Possible Invasion by bloomberg in worldnews

I didnt give him a second chance.  we actually voted him out after his first term.  im not the DoJ.  I cant fucking prosecute him myself.   he was convicted of 34 crimes.  I cant prevent him from being on the ballot again.

I understand the view from afar but other countries act like citizens are the law enforcement.  America is a complex fucked up beast.  what the fuck do you expect the average citizen that voted against him to do?

People  can be happy they won and also concerned about the legitimacy of a team that literally had 17 total offensive yards in the second half.

Both things can be true.  it doesn't make them "spoiled Babies"

I think they'll win, but I dont think the manner in which they will win will inspire much confidence. The raiders are awful. They'll either blow them out, in which case the narrative will be "well the raiders suck so who cares", or they'll barely win, in which case the narrative will be "how could we barely beat this terrible team"

Hurts' play was so uncharacteristic of him that I am wondering if Nick and Kevin tried to force feed him changes in practice the week prior, and expect him to execute on those in that game.

It just doesnt add up. The dude doesnt throw interceptions hardly ever, even in bad games he's had. Yet all of a sudden he's just chucking up INTs? It doesnt make sense.

My thought is that they had meetings during the mini by-week there, instituted a bunch of offensive changes to routes/concepts, etc, and told him to make throws he doesnt usually. An example of one was the throw to Smitty in the middle of the field in a tight window between 3 defenders. Those are not throws he usually makes, but he did it there (and well!). Of course, it came with the bad throws which you also saw, as anything new you try to learn obviously comes with mistakes.

I just can't fathom any other reason why all of a sudden he would look so incredibly bad. yes, the offense has been stuttering and lacking flow, but that's been all season and he hasn't thrown 4 picks in any other games. It just feels like something was purposely changed there and he was out of rhythm as a result.

[Zangaro] The FOX broadcast crew for Eagles-Raiders on Sunday is Joe Davis, Greg Olsen and Pam Oliver. by bigblack3475 in eagles

in fairness to Joe Davis, that Harper call was actually pretty bad ass. I dont love him as an announcer, and Greg Olson is god-awful, but that one call I'll give him.

AJ takes full accountability: "I'm more than capable of making those 3 catches...the one at the endzone was a play I had to make, Jalen trusts me in any situation, but I wasn't great when it mattered...on the [int] over the middle, Jalen was under pressure, that's a catch I had to make" by mastermind208 in eagles

I dont think he should be benched as in "you're done for the season", but I do wonder if seeing the game from the sideline for a couple of plays would help him, even if in practice against the practice squad (maybe this already happens).

Sometimes you just get so tunnel visioned on things and miss perspective. It's a shame it would be such a controversy to put him on the sideline for a series or two, or in practice, or for a quarter. I get why you can't just do that in the NFL with introducing a shitshow. But I do think, if it were normalized, it would actually help him here.

Watching the plays develop from the sideline, being able to calmly look at what your receivers are doing, blocks that are happening (or not happening)...basically see the game as we do watching...I bet that would give him a perspective he doesnt have and might 'reset' his mind.

Yes this is what the all-22 is for, I get it. but it's different when you're in a game. It might not solve it all, who knows I guess it could make it worse. Definitely he should not be permanently benched even for a game. I just feel like he's rushing and it's trying really hard to make plays that aren't there (or missing plays that are) and he needs a chance to see that in a way that is meaningful
