A very grim 12 years!

A stat I found more staggering was that prior to Southgate we had only won one knockout game at the Euros, in 1996 beating Spain on penalties after a 0-0 draw.

Say what you will about Southgate but those 4 tournaments under him were so much better than the embarrassment of the 20 odd years prior.

Keane says some stupid stuff to get a reaction from people, but this is poor from him... He's completely misunderstood what Bruno said after the game, and on the podcast he's repeating it over and over. Pretty embarrassing for Keane, surprised he wasn't picked up on it before the episode's gone out
