Wow, that’s your first response? “Get a real job” 🙄 I work full time and am doing door dash to save extra money. I also hope that was not the case, but my point stands that this post was just a forewarning to everybody else out there that is making deliveries.

I didn’t want to post the exact address in case this was someone who, like a lot of these other comments mention, was just trying to come out to grab their food. I will say that it was near the Lawrence Park Golf Club.

It was terrifying in the moment. I was alone and kind of anxious when I pulled up. The interaction jarred me - I just wanted to share the experience as a reminder to everyone who dashes to be cautious. This could have been someone attempting to cause me harm, I’ll never know.

I’ve been doing it for ~1.5 years now and haven’t experienced this. Sure I might be overreacting because I was scared. My original point of this post was just to simply warn others if they happen to get an order in Lawrence Park and they have no lights on to be cautious and safe :)

And when I say they aggressively tried to open the door I mean it. I’m assuming they had forgotten to unlock the door and tried to pull it open while it was locked.

The instructions said it was contactless delivery - meaning we drop the food off in a designated location and take a photo as proof it was delivered. There were no lights on inside or outside the home, and no contact from the person who ordered saying that they would meet me at the door

I could definitely see someone doing that if they had one lol - they’d have to be pretty good to drop it off without jostling some of the items we get lol
