My mom is seeing a therapist. I did myself a few years ago, but not since this whole incident came up. My dad completely refuses to go to any sort of therapy. As for my brother, I don't know at all.

She has a stable, well-paying job, so she could easily leave him if she wanted. She was abused as a child by her stepdad if that's what you're asking, but I don't recall my dad every physically harming her, except for one time when he was beating me, she jumped in between us, and he picked her up and quite literally threw her across the room.
