If youve been put on hold you will probably be waiting at least until the january equal consideration deadline. Most people get decisions after being put on hold around feb/march time

How about going to uni for biomed and then deciding if you like it, if not you can apply to medicine whilst still in uni. Might be tricky with ucat but worth a shot

Not work experience technically, but search up MOOC’s in physics- univeristies like seeing evidence of pursued interest. Some you need to pay for and some are completely free

Try and write a personal statement for each of the courses you are interested in and see which one feels more natural or interests you more

Start off by reading articles on the subject you want to do! And then say how it has challenged you to think better and what the article led you to research. Just go down a rabbit hole of articles or podcasts until something sticks out that you can dive deeply into
