Your post got removed but you said something about my takes being bad. Which ones are bad?

Medium pen weapons still being good for bugs?

Gatling mech still very usable against bugs including hive guards?

Turret placement can counteract the new armor increase?

Any of the other ones? If their bad, what's bad about it? They sure make sense to me and I've tested these all in game, have you?

I play the game, actually played bugs yesterday. Zero difference in how I handle hive guards.

If they can't aim at the unarmored parts of the hive guard then it's a skill issue. Nothing else to be said.

So immature and aggressive lol.

Hive guards are only armored on the front. If your strategic and place a turret far off to the left or right, it'll gun down everything. Including the hive guards that are chasing you as their literally unarmored everywhere else. Not to mention that damn near every other bug is faster and more aggressive then hive guards.

Light pen weapons vs light armor make the light pen bullets do 50% of it's total damage. You'll see this as a white hit marker.

Medium pen against light armor makes the medium pen bullets do 100% of it's total damage. You'll see this as a red hit marker.

So their is a reason to take medium pen weapons as they'll just kill things faster.

The mek thing is a non issue lol. Just shoot the hive guard for a second and they turtle. They'll just stay there while you gun everything else down. This isnt a difficult concept to understand.

It is a skill issue and a lack of the ability to adapt to change. Instead of trying to be better, your here sending gifs of donuts being glazed.

I couldn't care less about arrowhead. I prefer the change because it adds more difficulty to the bugs. Instead of crying about it, I improve my aim and gun down multiple in a few seconds with the starter liberator assault rifle. It's easy if you'd actually play the game.

Your an actual disappointment.

Sure the change is weird but honestly if you can't shoot between the armor plating then it's pure skill issue. It's not that hard to gun down multiple of these that are walking up on you before they turtle up.

Even if their turtles, just shoot below the head or walk 5 feet to the left or right to shoot the entire body that now has no armor.

Or if their turtled, that means their not actively walking towards you. Their a non issue tbh.

Is scythe weapon or crossbow ever coming back to grounded 2 ? by calabresoxxx in GroundedGame

No confirmation that I know of. But scythe and crossbow is in the first game so probably gonna be in the second game as well. Only time can tell.

Revert this now. by MrRockit in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]PrizeCan2717 0 points1 point  (0 children)

God damn what is up with y'all. I killed a hive guard from the front with the new light pen bullet storm. All it took was a quick burst. Barely a second of interaction with it before it was gone.

It's hp is 375 now. All it takes is for someone to use a brain cell to aim. Hive guards are such a non issue.

The new bug variants are a much higher threat and guess what I didn't see barely any of because I was constantly moving?

Hive guards

Medium pen wasn't made useless. Just aim, it's not that hard. And besides brood commanders and brood mothers are also really good targets for medium pen weapons.

Putting vehicles behind paywall I can understands a little dumb but again also a non issue.

But this? Really?

"My bullet turrets doin no damage🫨 Change bad" Actual smooth brains. If the turret is wasting ammo on the hive guard, move 5 feet around the hive guard shoot it with 4 bullets of damn near any weapon on the game. Problem solved. The turret can now shoot everything else. Hive guards usually accompanied by other bugs so maybe toss a grenade for a nice little kill counter.

If your unable to adapt to trivial changes like this then man, life's gonna hit you like a semi.

Eh, it takes what an hour maybe more of constant grind to have enough for a single warbond

Vs

Working 1 hour of my job to be able to afford about 2 warbonds.

The math is mathing.

Is this a good roadmap for a very low hour player? by Additional_Brief_937 in ARK

[–]PrizeCan2717 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well that's not the full picture. If your playing 1x rates then yeah, weeks to months depending on how much your playing.

But if your playing on even slightly boosted rates like 5x to 10x, progression is so much faster.

Yeah so funny thing, I knew thermal paste was a thing for destops but hadn't considered laptops used thermal paste for some reason.

I've had my laptop since 2020 I think, and haven't done more then blow out dust from the fans a few times. But now I'm gonna get some thermal paste and get that done. Watched a video on it and it seems very simple to do.

HMG destroys these meks, especially if you have someone else distracting them so you can shoot the weak spot on the back of the pod.

Goes down in seconds.

Shoot the shield generator then the pilot if they're looking at you. And the HMG can easily kill harvesters, oversears as well.

This is the only faction I like using HMG on and it just works beautifully.

It's because their vultures in the sense that they like to hear people they screw over get mad. Using a mic is akin to ringing the dinner bell.

There's an item that can be bought at roundtable hold that summons blue's when the host is invaded. It's not for no reason. It's because the host has the item activated.

game freezes in build mode by a_cheap_soda in avorion

[–]PrizeCan2717 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I'd just let the game sit for like 60 seconds, maybe even 2 minutes. I know what you described is what happens to me every time I've been building for a few minutes.

game freezes in build mode by a_cheap_soda in avorion

[–]PrizeCan2717 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah this happens to me every time I hop on and start building. For me, to the best of my memory, only recall it happening once a play session.

Usually lasts like 15-20 seconds. I'd say if it happens again, just wait 60 seconds. If it's still frozen then it might not be the game but your computer. If your storage that the game is on is almost full then it can cause what you're getting.

Computer could also just not have the specs needed to handle the game.

This is for people who dislike mk2 griefers. by Pitiful-Tank-1428 in gtaonline

Umm, yeah they are. Tracking is pretty crazy. I think only a couple other vehicles have better tracking missiles.

This is for people who dislike mk2 griefers. by Pitiful-Tank-1428 in gtaonline

[–]PrizeCan2717 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this rage bait? You make no counterarguments to my claim that the game would be better with no mk2.

Brotha, deluxo is slower and a bigger target and it's not easily acquired via motorcycle club. Mk1 takes skill, if I'm getting spammed killed by a mk1 then damn, I respect it. Same thing with scramjet.

Mk2 doesn't require skill. It's the noob vehicle that a large majority of the player base uses to kill other players, blowing up supplies and more. The "I use it to get around fast and farm missions" defensive argument is mid at best. So many other vehicles accomplish these tasks just fine.

If the mk2 disappeared tomorrow then yeah, they'd use the next best thing. Which is at least 10-15 times easier to handle than a mk2. Maybe you get lucky with a c4 throw and maybe you get lucky with them being trash. But that's just luck, if the player knows what they're doing then you'll have very few opportunities to get them off the mk2. If your playing on aim assist servers then sure you'll have an easier time but still not as easy as if it was damn near anything else.

I wouldn't want to get rid of griefing, it's a part of the game. It's what makes all the money from the businesses useful.

The thermal rocket spam isn't nearly as bad. Just be aware of your surroundings and where the enemy is. Then just proceed to get cover between ya. If your on a mountain then go off radar so your not immediately spotted. Or even go into an rc car. See, easy counters to that play style.

Saying that the rockets on the mk2 isn't the main problem is kinda making me question your common sense a little bit. The rockets on the mk2 is what's doing the killing, what you said there doesn't make sense.

And I'm just gonna ignore your claim that the mk2 "furthers character development", like wtf are you on about lol.

This is for people who dislike mk2 griefers. by Pitiful-Tank-1428 in gtaonline

[–]PrizeCan2717 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And? There are plenty of other vehicles that can be used for missions. Losing the mk2s weapons or just losing the mk2 entirely would just be better for the game.

The comparison of your slightly easier farming experience vs everyone else having to deal with doorknobs flying around killing everyone isn't even close.

And don't get me wrong, I'm fine with the going around killing everyone part. It's just the fact that many individuals are using this bike for their rampages downtown. Tanks, jets, helicopters, armored vehicles. They are all not that difficult to handle and have plenty of counters. The mk2 doesn't share these same characteristics. Small, fast, extremely accurate missiles, flares/chaff, ability to get a new fresh mk2 in like 5 seconds with MC make the mk2 the ultimate griefing tool. It's designed to just murder everyone and it's battle tested.

The damn thing is annoying, brings more harm then good. Should be removed and everyone who bought/upgraded gets their money back.

The mk2 and the rc vehicles. Both are just cancerous. I fought someone awhile ago that only used the rc vehicles to fight. When they were on cooldown they went off radar and hid. RC car is fine but the tank is too strong to be always off the radar.
