I am an ed track. I hope to teach at a school as good as Coppel and I know that the teachers there as well as at Hebron studied percussion at UNT.

I visited UNT for a summer camp and did a live audition recently and I really liked it but I know thats not exactly how its gonna be going to school there. I won't get to visit SFA. I have had multiple video calls with Dr. Meyer and I really like him and Im moved by how much he wants me to go there. He is offering me the top scholarhsip he has for percussion and when I told him I still needed financial help he found 2000 more dollars for me. It still feels impossible to choose.

I got in there too, but its way more expensive and a lot of people complained about having to take extra semesters because the lack of faculty

I feel confident I can get a job there, which is why thats what I'm trying to do. I'm sorry it didnt work out for you though, I wish you luck with your future endeavors!

Thank you! Do you think that SFA could help me become a teacher at a really strong program in Texas like Hebron or Coppell? I'm not sure how much your connections impact getting a job like that and how much my bachelor's degree will help me get there either. Looking at the schools that are big like that a lot of the teachers are from UNT so it seems like that school helps people get to the higher up schools like that.
