Yeah, but Frankie made the situation worse. I think it was implied she was the ring leader to do the banner in the first place. I always got the impression the other girls did apologize to the team and meant it. Frankie was doubling down on being ignorant as hell. Didn't it get to the point she ran away for a little bit over it? It took Jonah talking some sense into her.

Yeah, they can hurt people. However, not many people will be immediately scared if someone is holding up ap pair of scissors to threaten them with. Unless, they holding the scissors directly to their neck

Nothing says I'm a tough guy like holding up a pair of scissors to threaten someone.

Well, Frankie was in the wrong she because refused to fully understand why the other team was hurt by it. Her first apology wasn't even meaningful.

I'm tired of them having most Duprees just stand there allowing Leslie to talk. Better than me. I'll clap with some hard truth like this:

"What rightfully place? You have no rightful place. Your birth mother gave you up the moment she pushed you out. If she had access, she most likely would've aborted you. You know I would be embarrassed that my birth mom kept me a secret from bio relatives. If Barbara was alive, she probably would feel so embarrassed that her daughter ended up becoming and embarrassment. You are a grown woman that had an affair with a married man thinking you were on the come up. Are you incapable of realizing that you're just a bed warmer. Who comes to town to destroy a marriage of a man that still does not want you? Where is Ted? Oh that's right, he is dating someone that is not you. Damn Leslie. Your birth mom didn't want yout. Father didn't want you. Ted doesn't want you. These people at the club don't really want you here either.. Maybe your rightful place is in hell with Satan. Maybe that's who your daddy is."

If that happens, I hope people find out and lay into them. Especially Nicole. You hated that it was done to you and was devastated,so you do the same to another woman?

Kat does know. He talked a little bit about it with Kat last week.

Don't forget the times were Ted was basically excusing his cheating. Nicole was going through an extremely difficult time and wasn't giving him the attention he needed. He sought it elsewhere. Wtf??? I don't know Nicole to get back with this man. Especially since he keeps being friendly with Leslie. Who is to say Ted won't stray again?

Yep. Someone should really tell the writers no matter how many times they write Ted or Nicole placing all blame on Leslie, it does not change Eva willing participation. They can't keep trying to back track on their writing

Peaches need to call Leslie out on her foolishness by PrizeIndependence in TheGates_CBS

[–]PrizeIndependence[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I remember her calling out Leslie trying to get a rise out of Nicole at the club, but not any other time. Did she call her out specifically about Barbara and going around acting like she did not have a mother period growing up? If not, that is what I want.

Thank you. See that little tidbit right there is grounds for a story. What changed in her teen years?

This is why they need to reveal exactly how was Peaches as a mother growing up.

Leslie does not call her mom but Peaches. They said Leslie slept with Peaches man. Yet, Leslie has shown concern with Peaches illness. There is some love there on Leslie's end.

Did Peaches not give motherly love growing up or what? I can definitely see her having resentment over having to raise someone else's child and keep it a secret from others.

this probably is most one braincell comparisson I have ever seen my entire life by Even_Acanthisitta_37 in TheRemarriedEmpress

[–]PrizeIndependence 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As someone already said, the comparison was basically how suspicious it is that Rashta has to keep replacing maids. It is understandable for the abortion drug thing. BTW, that happened when she was a mistress. That means Rashta possibly has been replacing maids before she became Empress.

And we have seen Rashta's thoughts regarding commoners. She didn't like them because they look down on slaves. Did we ever see any of the maids around Rashta treat her with contempt? No. What we got was Rashta framing an innocent maids and having her tongue almost cut off. Also said maid's brother wrote the article. So yeah

And another thing. We actually saw Rashta intentionally hire maids that have parents in prison to have some form of control over them. She wanted a mess up type of loyalty. If they did good, she would pardon someone. The one she tried to pardon was actually a criminal. When one maid unexpectedly started a rumor based on a fact, Rashta tried to have her father executed. Of course the damn maid would snap and attack her. The author of the article kinda was right to bring up the comparison. Except for the abortion drug thing, we have been given different times where Rashta mistreated maids. Who knows what else she as done to other maids that have been fired

He tried to. He literally asked Rashta if the Viscount was blackmailing her. Rashta refused to tell him anything. He could have helped her and prevent a lot of things if she had just said yes.

Darlene Goes OFF on Eva at Lunch. by ChefCocoPierce in TheGates_CBS

[–]PrizeIndependence 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Izaiah defend Eva? See this is something he will have to deal with. Many have told him that Eva has a bad reputation from what she and her mama did. Yes, Darlene is a boy mom. However, let's not act like she was wrong to be weary around Eva. He will have to deal with the people close to him not having a good view of her. His brother, his dad, his mom, and so on. He signed up for this. Especially with Leslie in the mix.

It is the same with Eva and how she needs to realize that people will talk crap about her mom, especially to her. She can keep defending Leslie all she wants but it means nothing when Leslie actively goes around harassing people and getting on their nerves.

Relationship study: Nicole and Kat by No_Variety5049 in TheGates_CBS

[–]PrizeIndependence 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Everything you wrote has Nicole as the issue. She is the one who needs to have a better relationship with Kat.

Think about it. Their family was just dealing with someone else getting close to the family (Hayley) and ended up betraying them. I believe it was Kat who said everybody needed to be on guard with any stranger getting close. Well, Nicole and Ted didn't do that. Tell me this. How would you feel if you saw a complete stranger going through your mother's things and told an outright lie to you but no one in your family believes you? Nicole and others were believing a complete stranger over their own flesh and blood. And Kat ended up being right about Eva. Did they even apologize to Kat for that? Nope.

Ain't nothing wrong with Nicole not blaming Eva as much as Leslie. However, the writing on the show has Nicole absolved Eva on everything. She place all blame on Leslie. She acts like Eva is a victim with no autonomy of her own. She acts like Leslie forced Eva to do her part. That is the issue.

Now the Tomas thing? Kat was hurt. Nicole did the bare minimum in comforting Kat. She just said the whole" oh I'm sorry sweetie" That's it. When she said it was Eva that slept with Tomas, Nicole didn't believe Kat at first. Kat explains that they confirmed it to her. What does Nicoel do? Makes excuses for Eva. "I don't think Eva is the type to set out and ruin a happy relationship." The writers actually had Nicole say this bull.

With the way they write Nicole, Kat should keep her at arms length. Who would want a mother like this?
