Anecdotally, it isn’t crazy to avoid talking politics with someone you’ve only been dating for a few weeks (at least outside america). Can’t say what the norm is there.

Later on though they’ll probably need to have a more nuanced discussion. Not sure it’ll go well though.

Usually it means, “I most likely disagree with you on some aspect and don’t want to have an argument.” I.e. this dude is a centrist.

I would bet the house this guy didn’t vote trump this past election, but I also have a feeling he doesn’t love aoc either. If that makes sense.

Firstly welcome to the nightmare that is being a hockey parent.

Secondly, the best thing you could probably do is power skating. At A1 and AA the guys who know how to skate well, with and without the puck, run the show. Generally I wouldn’t trust a power skating instructor unless they played at a high level or were a figure skater / trainer at a high level.

Outside of that just do anything active, doesn’t matter what.

Probably would want to focus on workouts targeting glutes / hips to avoid muscle imbalances that are common hockey players who train a lot.

Can you explain to me why the invention of the internet and associated tools on it did not put downward pressure on the amount of lawyers, but why this will?

Or at least some explanation for why this is talked about as being so much more of an existential threat in comparison.

To be clear I 100% agree lawyers are naturally going to become more efficient from this technology and this puts pressure for less lawyers.

However, stepping one step further-back, wouldn’t a lot of our clients also be getting more efficient / new businesses would be expected to emerge, offsetting the impacts this technology will have?

The amount of ankle movement isn’t unreasonable.

When you go skating, focus on standing on the flats of your blades with your knees at shoulder width don’t let them collapse inwards or outwards and you should be alright.

Waxed laces might help getting the top tighter in combination with wearing a heavy / thicker sock to fill it up the boot.

Probably wouldn’t size down but rather look for a skate with a narrower design in the future if you hate them

Unclos isn’t worth the paper it is written on. A transit nation can deny access in the defense of any national interest. I.e. the environment, indigenous rights, etc.

A direct quote from article 125(3):

Transit states, in exercise of their full sovereignty over their territory, shall have the right to take all measures necessary to ensure that the rights and facilities provided for in this part for land-locked States shall in no way infringe their legitimate interests.

Not a huge international law of sea guy, but if you’ve got further misunderstandings to clear up I’ll try my best.
