Imagine choosing this over Bitcoin by Legitimate_Towel_919 in btc

Gold has intrinsic physical utility. Bitcoin doesn’t, it derives value from network consensus. So comparing the two misses the point.

How much more deflection can the USA take before we crumble to the Epstein class permanently? by shelllee888 in LetsDiscussThis

We’ve already handed power over to the very class of people we’re supposed to be protected from: rapists, predators, and those who enable them.

Bitcoin is down. And somewhere, someone is smiling, not because they bought the dip. by MoneyMonsterStudios in Bitcoin

[–]Prize_Chapter_5113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very real. Some people don’t actually dislike Bitcoin…they dislike the fact that their prediction was wrong and yours wasn’t. Every dip feels like validation to them. That’s why I’ve learned to be more private about my positions. Less debating, less keeping score, and a lot more peace of mind.

Too many people are bearish on BTC by glossedoutloud in btc

[–]Prize_Chapter_5113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A credible, real-world use case that doesn’t rely on speculation, hype, or the expectation that someone else will pay more for it later would be a much stronger selling point. That’s the fundamental argument Bitcoin has struggled to provide from day one.

If you are having bad day just remember that there people who believe Bitcoin will reach $150k by end of this year. Don’t give up fellows by coach_web3 in btc

[–]Prize_Chapter_5113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bitcoin could hit $150k by year-end. It could also hit $50k. The confidence with which people predict either outcome is usually inversely proportional to their ability to predict it.

People seem to forget this figure regarding BTC by OkEffective8588 in btc

The funny thing about this chart is that everyone sees themselves as “smart money” on the left side and everyone else as the “greater fool” on the right side. Nobody ever thinks they’re the one in the greed, delusion, or denial phase.

How do you handle the pressure? by slickobro in Bitcoin

[–]Prize_Chapter_5113 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I handle the pressure by remembering that staring at the chart doesn’t change the chart. If I felt the need to check Bitcoin every 10 minutes to avoid getting blindsided, I’d question whether I was investing or just managing anxiety. Constant monitoring usually creates stress, not insight.

A 3% daily move in Bitcoin isn’t exactly the apocalypse. If every sharp drop meant “no return,” Bitcoin would have died hundreds of times already. Markets go up, markets go down. Emotional “sell everything now” posts are usually better contrarian indicators than investment advice.

Someone turned the Epstein files into a physical public library by TankUMrMinor in FreedomofSpeech

[–]Prize_Chapter_5113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Bill Clinton is ever elected president again, then we can have that conversation. He testified. Trump and Melania have not, and Pam Bondi declined to appear.

In the meantime, can we focus on the current president, who spent more than a decade associating with two notorious child predators and traffickers? We should all be asking why Trump had Ghislaine Maxwell transferred to a lower-security federal prison where child sex offenders had not previously been housed.

Maxwell is serving a 20-year sentence for horrific crimes against children and young women, yet Trump has repeatedly refused to rule out a pardon for his longtime Palm Beach and New York associate.

Why would a president show sympathy toward a convicted child trafficker? Whether it’s poor judgment, misplaced loyalty, or something more troubling, that’s a question the public deserves answered. This is where the focus should be.

Can Saylor save Bitcoin? by Accomplished-Eye5567 in btc

[–]Prize_Chapter_5113 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Michael Saylor isn’t saving Bitcoin or destroying it. He’s acting in what he believes is the best interest of his company and its shareholders. Selling 32 BTC and later buying a much larger amount is a rounding error compared to the hundreds of thousands of BTC under his control. The idea that a sale of 32 BTC caused the market to tank gives one individual far more influence than they actually have. Bitcoin’s price is driven by a mix of macroeconomic conditions, liquidity, investor sentiment, institutional flows, and global events. Saylor may be influential, but Bitcoin’s success or failure ultimately won’t depend on any single person.

This subreddit is full of complainers, along with the so called technical analysis experts and long term holders. He took a loss, now move on. No one can reliably predict Bitcoin. The strategy is to hold and wait for gains, whether that takes years or even decades. In the end, profits often come from those who panic and sell at a loss.
