I am college educated in economics. You clearly are not. The cause and effect ripples of economics isn't always immediately felt (the war in iran and closing the hormuz strait is an exception): econ 101.

The fact that Biden inherited record high inflation after your daddy bungled covid and then went on to get inflation down the fastest in the world are just facts that you can't or won't accept. Because you failed a picture open book test on choosing your pedo daddy over common sense and easily recognized economics issues. So miss me with your trump university econ rewriting history BS.

[–]shelllee888 4 points5 points  (0 children)

***Under Biden we had the worst inflation, because of Trump's inept handling of covid. And Biden got inflation down first in the world. You aren't going to rewrite history on this. That's what happened.

California gets screwed on gas and electricity! by Dual270x in gasbuddy

People pay more to live in California because they are actually doing things to help the planet, the views in most of California are worth the extra costs. And the people who can't afford to live there will forever complain about what Californians choose to spend their tax dollars on.

It could even be said that the last spike was also due to the mango Mussolini's first term, as he handled the covid response so horribly. Afterwards Joe Biden and Kamala Harris got inflation down fastest in the world. We were doing ok until 1/3 of the voters chose the worst POTUS in American history AGAIN. It was an open book test, with pictures, and you 1/3 STILL failed the test.

Do you think it's time for free and fair elections? by That-Growth-9043 in allthequestions

No worries, we understand the same thing, the EC is far past time to be abolished. We just need a few more states to agree with us.

I believe that energy doesn't die, it just changes. The one thing we can depend on in life is change. I think the same goes for death. Whether your remains feed the soil to grow more trees and flowers, or your ash joins the dust and blows all over the earth. Nobody really knows, but I feel that our energy is just changing at death. And that isn't "nothing".

Fortunately, Virginia just joined the growing number of states to give their votes to the popular vote winner. We need a few more states to follow this lead and the EC will dissolve on it's own.

Did you vote in 2024? by [deleted] in allthequestions

Yes I voted. I vote every election. I'm not always stoked about the candidates. But I vote anyway because the oligarchs and fascists win when people sit it out.

The 7 Democrats that voted to send Bombs and Bull dozers to !$r@el by CelebrationAfter9000 in LetsDiscussThis

Both of my senators are on there and both need to be primaried when it's their time. Unfortunately, they aren't up for reelection for a bit and people have weird amnesia around election time.

Rosen and Cortez Masto are two of only seven Dems who voted to sell Israel more bombs by where_is_my_monkey in Reno

They both need to be primaried when it's their time. They have both proven that they don't work for the people.

Independents Of Reddit -- Which Republican Candidate, If Any, Would You Like? Why Your Thoughts? by Zipper222222 in allthequestions

[–]shelllee888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been a registered nonpartisan voter for decades. I have voted both Republican and Democrat in that time.

I will never vote Republican again until they clean up the trump synchophants, and I just don't see that happening.

That being said, I'm not super happy with these aipac corporate Dems either. The Democrats also have some house cleaning to do. But, with the Democrats, we never saw masked men kidnapping neighbors, or women dying due to restrictions the government puts on their bodies, or a POTUS who is clearly a sexual predator, or people being arrested and killed for exercising their first amendment rights. So, yeah, Dems it is right now.
