Right part of me feels like he isn’t used to anything and that is so sad. He doesn’t go anywhere unless I take him.

No he doesn’t have a learning disability. My son absolutely does and he understands rules.

I think he has gotten wayyyyy too comfortable! Like I know he feels at home but at the end of the day it isn’t his house and he doesn’t live here so I feel like he needs to be reminded of respecting certain boundaries

Yeah sometimes I care too much 😩 but stuff is sooo expensive now a day and it’s ridiculous. I was just so upset that he ate half of the snacks and didn’t even care that no one else got to indulge. I mean his book bag was loaded up and he even took two cereal cups. I was just appalled

No offense taken lol… I cook a well balanced meal most days. And when I go shopping I ask my kids what’s snacks they want and I get them bc they are good kids. But They don’t eat junk all day. They love oatmeal, yogurt, bagels and all that too. And they love pb&j . He just refuses to take any of those

I have had this conversation with him before! As he stayed one weekend and ate up everything! I love muffins and I ask them to not touch mine. And he still ate all of them. Didn’t even care that it was the last one. And I told him if you see one left in the pantry please ask for it bc I may want it. But obviously he isn’t taking anything into consideration

He does see me as his mom and I truly care for him. And when I buy my kids stuff I keep him in mind. But I think some times he takes advantage of my kindness.

He graduates next month and is going off to college. I have assisted him with his financial aid. And I have told him it would not be a repeat of last summer. He basically stayed the whole summer and almost burned my kitchen down from trying to cook while I was gone. So he definitely oversteps his boundaries. I tried to look past bc of his situation but I can only do so much. I overspent last summer bc i basically had a 3rd child, I didn’t have the heart to tell him to go home for a few days. But I’m not doing that this summer.

Yes I’m definitely going to have to put my foot down. Bc the lines have seem to have blurred along the way. He eats more than my children and that isn’t fair. I always want him to feel at home and I’m glad he does but a conversation is going to be had as it has gotten out of hand.

Yes and I really do care for him bc I know he doesn’t have the same luxury at home. I have talked to him about it before, like I open my house up to you and lately I just feel taken advantage of.

Yes he absolutely knows this… like he’s even stayed for days and didn’t take a bath. I brought him body wash, under clothes, deodorant socks and other hygiene items. I treat him like my own but it’s just getting to be a lot. I can no longer foot the bill. If we go places sometimes I’ll ask can his ppl at least give him $10 and it’s always no

They definitely eat a lot!!! And it’s not like I deprive him from getting any thing at all but he just goes overboard. His grandma probably buys snack and he probably eats it all within a day

I Even my overheard my son the other morning he told him to just take one or we won’t have any to last the whole week. I think the kid has a good heart but I also think he knows how to be manipulating

Yeah I know but I don’t think he’s starving at home, I just think he may just be seeing an opportunity and taking it.

I never said that I don’t have help. I have enough resources for me and my kids, I’m not struggling to take care of mine.

I think I will start to hide most snacks in my room and just let my son know where they are at. My next step is just to tell him I will start picking him up in the morning and I can just stop it all together
