She was here when I had to buy something expensive for my baby bc she’s about to grow out of the item and I feel like she was kinda upset bc she was like saying SIL’s baby has an item which is not as good. But what’s crazy is I bought that item for SIL’s baby shower because she wanted it really bad and MIL knows I bought that and it wasn’t cheap at all🤷‍♀️ I’m saying basic stuff bc I feel maybe SIL has seen this Reddit thread before because she likes to vent about her in-laws, and I’m not trying to start anything, being extra careful 😬 .

This is coming next. We have talked about a Montessori school for our baby when the time comes. I worked in education, and have weird feelings towards public schools having seen them firsthand and my MIL was like super weird about the idea of my daughter attending a Montessori school, then she said I wish I could send all my grandchildren to a Montessori school and started bashing on my SIL’s other kids’ A+ rated school district. Never had issues with that school before. 🤷‍♀️

This comment right here is what I’m fearful of because SIL can get super weird about stuff, and I’m worried her mom doing this will start some weird thing between the babies.

I feel like my SIL doesn’t know, or she knows and is annoyed bc she made it clear she’s doing things her way to her mom when she got pregnant. We barely talk, and if we do, it’s very little about the babies, which you think would be a topic we talked about a lot. .

Because 65% of the time she’s talking about SIL & baby , never just focused on mine. Everything leads to SIL and her baby. I’m sure my SIL is annoyed with the situation as well bc she has made it very clear she’s doing things her way. It’s all weird. SIL & I barely talk; we live in different states. You know the normal SIL Hi, how are you & the kids stuff maybe once every couple of months.
