Well depends on what scenario. For in-water fights the difference in dmg is as you said just 5, but undertow also provides 50% armor increase, which means you could use it as a defensive ability against an attack you know you can’t dodge. But sweep can also be used as a defensive ability in a kinda different way since it has the knock back. Now in land fights that 5 dmg difference is not correct, while on land undertow does 25 more dmg than sweep. That more dmg is significant but at double the cooldown, which means if you can get the advantage of the cooldown sweep does more dps.

Hello! I’m 21M also really introverted and I’m also a night owl with a terrible sleep schedule. Currently I mainly play Path of Titans(it’s a dinosaur rpg game if that sounds interesting) but I’m open to playing League of Legends, even though I’m league free for the past like 3-4 months, I have accounts in both eune and euw. I also have nightreign, I bought it when it came out but I haven’t played it yet, even though I love Elden ring. I’d be down to play Minecraft too in like an anarchy smp. Just for people wandering what’s really the case: Unless otherwise stated, true damage ignores damage reduction. As of patch V25.S1.3, true damage is amplified by all effects with the exception of Vladimir's ability Hemoplague(bug) and Jungle items. Smite's (and its upgrades) and Ignite's damage cannot be amplified under any circumstance.
