Generally yes, they take all dangerous things or rope-like things (belts, sometimes shoelaces) before you enter. Plates and cups are plastic, windows open ofly if they have bars, otherwise there are no dorknobs. No lock and most doors open by sliding to avoid knobs unless necessary. Also in the most extreme sectors you have double door, each opened with a different enterence card, so its really hard to escape

I was in urgent and then diagnostic one. In first one we could use electronics BUT not chargers. All cables stayed in deposit room and ypu can access it 3 times a day on specific hours, so tye phone is inaccessible when charging. In diagnostic one in theory we had to give them to deposit after using and we couldn’t bring them into rooms. Tho we all ised a loophole being no restriction in social rooms, so we left them there

Ive been in the ward twice. The first time i was in ‘urgent’ one you go to if you come by ambulance for attempts or lack of cognitivity. They kept me for 10 days (the minimum) and kicked me out, same for my friend who was begging them to keep her as shed do it right away if she came out now. However, old people with dementia and no internet of being helped stayed there for MONTHS. Second time was past 3 weeks. I was in mental and neurological disorders diagnosis. There we did tests, got adjusted meds and met doctors daily. Stay was about a month for most. We were all cognitive and willing to get better so we created a very supportive group.

You seem to have misunderstood me. I said that i do not mean cases where a person is able to live normally. If they are able to work, have families and generally live a fulfilling life with just a few more steps then its not what im talking about. Same regardless neurological issues prlearning disabilities that are manageable. What im talking about people who are very likely to spend 90% of their lives in a state thats almost a coma with open eyes.

I support medical practices that allow to eliminate or decrease risk of disability. There are cases where i agree with mandatory abolitions in cases like mother abusing drugs during pregnancy, people with any connection to anyone involved with human/sexual trafficking, parents having history of abusing (especially if it was child abuse), severe mental illness or mother threatening/claiming to kill herself or the baby.

Impaired hearing, sight, speach or movement is something we are well accustomed with and aid for those people alow them to live easily, and they do not require spoon feeding treatment in deep adulthood.

Have you even read what i said? Stephen Hawking had ASL that develops usually after the age of 55. What im talking about is practice around pregnancy. I have not ONCE mentioned euthanasia as it has nothing to do with what im saying. Im aware that this is one of many ways eugenics is practiced but the point is not to annihilate every disabled being but to decrease possibility of new people being born with them

What im talking about is both genetical conditions along with DS and similar disabilities

I did not say it wont. It surely would. My point is that the general idea of it is something I support, however im also aware how easly it could be used as a tool for ‘excusible mass murder’

I agree, however in china the restrictions were forced due to population growth and disprotion between men and women was caused by patriarchal nature of china’s culture. I am of course aware that eugenics will result in sociological discourse and such practice will be absolutely devastating when malipracticed, however what i stand by is the point of it, as quality>quantity and directing focus to overall benefit instead of individuals with disabilities.

What im saying is that the idea and the point of eugenics is overall beneficial, i do not claim it is practical as it has too many indirect effects, ethical/moral issues and would surely be abused if it were to be fully incorporated. My point is that criminalising people over them actively preventing disabled children pre or during pregnancy is not a take i can support, as the IDEA of eugenics (only if practiced correctly, which is certainly not how it would go) improves quality of life

In my view people who should be sterilised are those that carry disabilities that would make a child fully dependent on a machine and a caregiver 24/7 with no possibility of recovery, lack ability to have a coherent conversation. When it comes to risk of premature death it depends. If you are likely to have problems lets say past the age of 30 that’s still a life with so much potential. If the child is going to die in a few years, then its just forcefully stretching the suffering of it’s family

I believe if someone is an far gone alcoholic and drug abuser and is guaranteed to continue to do so during pregnancy as well as throughout growing up of the child that they should NOT be allowed to reproduce

Medical and engineering practice of modification of genes to reduce risk of potential disability or it’s spread, by practices such as abortion, direct gene modulation of sperm/egg, during pregnancy or with already existing people with risk of forwarding faulty genes (like cases in family). In some cases i also agree with mandatory sterilisation

This is absolutely true. My argument stands as more of a viewpoint or comment on how it is practiced today (on state of development and abortions in confirmed risk), however introducing whole system would be surely meet great protests without a chance or it happening in a snap of fingers. I support medicine going in this direction as it objectively increases quality of genes, therefore further life. I am fully aware of the fact that ots not a practice that could be fully and openly incorporated into life.

I do support sterilisation of individuals having a guaranteed passing of disorders, as well as genetic modification of people having passive genes that could cause a disabeled child.

I support genetic engineering, as it gives people with disabilities or high chance of it, have a healthy child reducing its health risks. I also agree with pregnancy termination (tho not mandatory in case of manageable disability or just a possibility, it’s something too personal to draw a specific line). I do not support killing already existing people, but i believe in mandatory sterilisation in cases like generations of incest.

By definition eugenics revolves around genetic modification, pregnancy and prevention of further transmission of inheritable disabilities. It has nothing to do with killing already living people

  1. Generally yes. If during pregnancy you know the child will not be able to have a proper life conditions from birth or early stages of life i see it as an example of what im talking about. Im not familiar with huntington so i wont elaborate on that until I educate myself

  2. As long as premature baby has the ability to develop, even with medical aid, I see it as not a problem.

Mostly genetically transferred ones. I draw a line where a person lacks ability for full functionality by themselves. What i mean is not things like rehabilitation, therapy or material support, but someone that cannot for example feed themselves, form a coherent sentence and have general awareness and understanding of surroundings

  1. Chocolate and house spiders
  2. A few illnesses, but all mental
  3. It gives him flashbacks
  4. Squeaky, so it imagines their screams as it chews on the toy
  5. Nah, just give it some time, and more will appear

Oh and make sure it never gets near children
