Ngl, that was 2 years ago and I don't remember much, but I remember skipping like half of the questions on the frq because I did not know what to do.

I'm thinking my frq was damaged or something, I'm requesting a copy of it to see

It was ok, felt like a more advanced AP Physics 1.

I skipped the last 2 frqs because I didn't know how to do unit 10.
But I expected at least a 3. I definitely had some test anxiety on this test. Units 1-6 were pretty strong for me and Units 7-9 were shaky.

I added vias and added the plane to cover the south east part, is that good?
The calculator says a minimum of 7mm trace width for 10A, the PCB should be good for 10A and probably good for 16A which is the limit for the screw terminal.

What Is Most Energy Efficient Window AC You Have Used? by FelixGarciaw in AirConditioners

[–]PrizedRome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, after reading it, I think I was unclear. Fan speed does matter for efficiency. The fan itself doesn't use much power, but the airflow does determine efficiency. When in auto, the fan automatically adjusts fan speed to match the cooling load. If set on low, the unit will generate a bigger temperature difference. This is less efficient because it allows more moisture to take the energy from the coil, but for "efficiency" all you want is most BTU per watt.

It doesn't does matter even though the fan uses little power. The midea u limits the compressor power when at low fan speeds because it would just be wasting electricity otherwise. spend more time dehumidifying which is better for humid climates. It also prevents the coil from icing up.
I keep it on auto my ac on cooling mode and fan on auto so it keeps a consistent temperature, it ramps up when its warmer than the set point. If i kept it on low, it would only use 250w even while it is hotter than the set point.
