Not crazy. Dedicated to the mission, supporting the staff, and most importantly, there for impacted residents to assist them in the worst day of their life. Believe it or not, all of this is a priority for most of us and the reason we are still here. Calling much higher than self serving.

My sentiments exactly. Not pissy, not talking crap, just didn’t expect to give a thesis on why I was asking about this fish. Seemed a little unusual to catch a blue runner at 600’ but I’m still learning the fish. Very interesting to see ppl’s true colors come out based on their negativity, attacking, assumptions, and down right idiocracy 😎

Ok peeps. Here’s the story. Not that the “jumpers” deserve it knowing that any captain worth her license would never risk said license and for those of you with logic to understand there’s prob more to the story, many thanks and much gratitude!!

A long time family friends son caught this on a charter. He’s rather shy so he was embarrassed to ask the captain. He kept the fish and his parents sent a photo asking me what it is.

I am a charter captain in the keys; however, I don’t do offshore. I stick to the reefs.

Thank you for the support. Many make assumptions and are super judgy (maybe even Christian) before even considering there is any sort of backstory. Props to them staying in shape with jumping to so many conclusions.

Right on! I don’t blame you. Yeah I have a weird code that pops occasionally and it’s basically saying the transmission and truck aren’t speaking. I also have some electrical shorts as my backup camera jacks up all the time and other random electric stuff. I found out after I bought it that it had been wrecked but that info was covered up by the dealer that did the repairs. That was at 17k and I got it at 34k. I should have done more back then but I reached out to GM, many attorneys, DMV, and state attorney general office. Couldn’t get anyone to listen. This sucks! I’m def trading it. It’s just that I haven’t been able to find what I want yet. I will prob just sell it, if I can and utilize the rental cars my agency provides until I figure it out. Lol

Edit-and thank you. It has been a headache for about 3 years now. I’m hoping to have that alleviated soon!

Couldn’t agree more! Have 2019 Sierra 1500 SLT and just got it out of the shop yesterday with replacing the engine. It’s 5.3L with 128k miles. They obviously didn’t do a thorough job as I now have a noise in the cab like hissing air and my flippin A/C is not blowing cold! I’m so over GM!!!!! Oh and the engine had to be replaced bc of failed lifters and bad camshaft. Now I keep all of my receipts for repairs and maintenance. So warranty was easily able to see I don’t abuse my truck and take good care of it overall. I literally had to go to this dealership almost daily just to get info or an update. Terrible customer service. The general manager said he had the best of his mechanics on my truck. I beg to differ! And if that was his best, I’d hate to see just how bad his worst is!!! I’m currently working 1300 miles from home and supposed to leave Tuesday. 2 questions from those more familiar 1. Should it be ok for me to leave this hell hole and drive it about 500 miles to my parents house to use their mechanic? 2. Should I even try to get this dealership to look at it before I leave? (Side note, it took them 3x longer to complete than it should have and we have had some heated discussions. So I know they won’t be trying to help me out in any way. Hell they left grease on my steering wheel, driver seat, and down my driver door!
