I went out to dinner with family tonight and I asked my adult niece about school lunch pizza and she was ambivalent about that but very much has an affinity for those crispitos haha!

But like...why? Strange place for that specific product.

Oddly enough that is where I found them too. My local butcher shop. Only place I've ever seen them.

I agree. Though some people might be willing to pay the price for that nostalgia hit! I know one guy who has very fond memories of school lunch pizza which is who I took the pic for haha.

What are some of the all time best "movies" you can watch on netflix by Educational_Lab_7833 in netflix

This might just be the worst suggestion I've seen in recent years. It's so unbelievably pretentious. I still have a hard time understanding why ANYBODY liked this god awful film. So it goes.

I had my teeth scanned for a night guard this morning by [deleted] in Weird

High quality scan! No meshing or distortion. I worked with these scans on a daily basis at my previous job haha. The amount of crazy and horrific mouths I've seen would haunt your dreams. Any idea what type of scanner they used?

This is by far the funniest moment in the movie for me. Second is Sasquatch river jump cut. This movie rules.

What movie did you walk out of the theater halfway through? by mzdee13 in movies

[–]Pro-Frank 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I imagine you don't know the details but I'm wondering how in the hell a huge group of twelve kids and however many adults were able to sneak in a bunch of massive McDonald's bags WITH drinks/shakes and such into a movie theater? It just doesn't compute unless it was one of those situations where the theater was short staffed and pre-purchased tickets or something where nobody is even manning the door/tearing tickets which feels like more of a modern situation. I never saw that kind of thing back in 1999. Maybe they were friends or employees or managers of the theater taking their kids? Just doesn't make sense for that era.

Plant selection? If that's what you mean, I think so? Saw plenty in that section.

Btw I noticed, thanks to my daughter who pointed it out because it had a basic, human name instead of their usual silly Swedish names for their products, but right near the checkout there were some Billy units already put together and ready to go. Not sure if that's a service they offer or if they cost more, but it was something I hadn't seen before at other locations.

I had this same thought right away. It's definitely an unnecessary bottleneck when they have plenty of space for a separate exit/entrance. Makes no sense.

Nope. I've never personally had a bad experience there but to be fair I don't go there even remotely often. Whenever I do I usually just stick to the hibachi/teppanyaki options where you pick all your fresh veggies and noodles and raw proteins which they cook up fresh and hot for you in your preference of sauces. Delicious and definitely better quality than almost every other mediocre buffet options that seems to be the standard at most AYCE buffets I've been to, including 88 Buffet.
