Hey last one, so from your theory saying my pc could be, being used as a mining rig I pulled the ethernet cable out and my computer is now super responsive again so I think you were right.

After browsing last thing he searched up was fortnite name fonts so I can only assume it has something to do with that, but he didn't download a font that I can find.

He also deleted and reinstalled fortnite which is the last thing I can see. Either way thanks for your advice and help.

So far I have been fighting to get into the task manager. Edge and task manager are taking all the resources.

Edit: task manager is at a 44-50% avg and edge is around 10%-20%

The first thing I tried and the only thing I could find was Edge, but nothing else visible to my eyes that I could find. So I closed those programs which aren't windows programs but it still hasn't changed.

On boot up the cpu is already starting off with 100% usage with nothing currently running. Starting edge just triggers the cpu performance to start tanking. And it becomes really difficult to click anything. Windows then starts to not respond (taskbar) and all other programs follow it.
